Charming 1 bed self-contained studio overlooking Onetangi Beach. The north-facing deck has sweeping views towards the Coromandel Peninsular and a hot tub for guests exclusive use. The studio stands separate from the owners residence and gets all-day sun, and has a recently refurbished bathroom. If you are not coming by car we recommend that you hire a car so that you can get to vineyards,restaurants and places of interest on the island. Electric bikes can also be hired from Onya bikes.

The three Air BnB rooms are downstairs. The hosts are upstairs. The bedroom which faces north, is very sunny and light. There are two chairs with a coffee table in the bedroom. There is also a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster and sandwich press. There is a large table with 2 chairs in the kitchenette where you can eat and/or use your Laptop if you are working or you can use it for groceries etc There is a bathroom with toilet and shower There is a step up to the shower

Really nice self contained apartment. Andy, the host was very friendly and helpful. We loved the light airy apartment and the outlook to the garden. The 5' bed was an unexpected feature which we liked. The mini kitchen had a one ring ceramic hob which was really useful for cooking, which we didn't expect! The apartment is close to a park, a coast walk and shops/coffee shops, on a nice quiet street in a lovely area.

Amazing stay at Karen’s cabin. Feels very private behind their house with a cute small garden to sit behind the cabin. Very homely and spacious vibes for the size. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Bathroom is very nice as well with washing machine if needed. Bedrooms are good sizes and have decent storage space as well. Karen really goes the extra mile to make you feel at home as well with the complimentary food and drinks. Would definitely stay again and not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

A very special place to stay in Auckland ! We found Narelle's cottage to be an outstanding base for our stay in Auckland. The cottage is charming, comfortable and very convenient to Ponsonby and the CBD of Auckland. Narelle was a perfect host. She left us some groceries and treats and helped us feel very welcome in the cottage. This property is a historic house in a lovely part of Auckland. I loved sitting on the veranda in front reading and having a glass of wine...you can even sit there in the rain as it is covered. I also loved the atmosphere of the house itself - lots of character. I would love to come back and stay again !!! Thank you so much Narelle - you made our time in Auckland very memorable.

It was truly a pleasure to stay with Warren and Suzanne. We were pleasantly delighted with the accomodation, an adventurous guided bush walk, and a lovely class on Astronomy with some beautiful pictures to see. A highlight for us was the breakfast they provided. Truly amazing. Definitely would recommend this place and would like to come here again!

Located close to beaches, forests, and wineries this is an ideal accommodation with very congenial hosts. The unit is immaculately clean and fresh looking and makes the most of a small space for breakfast prep. Honestly, she’s thought of almost everything you could need. Lauren provided info on nearby hiking and stores and restaurants when I had specific interests. We even shared a walk with her dog Molly one morning to nearby beaches I had yet to visit. There are lots of hills around, even the driveway is quite steep, so best to have a car if you’re not reasonably fit and don’t enjoy that type of exercise. Coming home at night, it’s quite dark near the house, but she provides a flashlight or you could use your mobile flashlight.. Overall, a wonderful stay, lots of fresh air, exercise, beautiful nature, peaceful environment in a very comfortable apartment. Thank you Lauren. I would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again..

Renee's spot is designed impeccably - the most comfortable linens, fancy soap/shampoo/conditioner, good towels, great cups for coffee! You can tell this place was designed with thought and care for the guests. I especially appreciated the little things - decaf coffee, turkish towels for the beach, kayaks you can borrow, and she was flexible about check-in for me. Most places do not think about these things or provide them. There are two beaches within a 5 min walk - hard to beat! I'd recommend you have a car for this location as the nearest food is a 45 min walk up and down hills. I only had one night so just took the bus, but it was a solid 15 min walk from bus stop which was a big challenging with my big bag and to get up their steep driveway. Also note is that the windows face the owners driveway so if you are a honeymoonin couple or seeking privacy, this may not be the spot for you (curtains and blackout shades provided - just blocks light!). I would definitely return (with a car!)

Margaret was gracious and attentive when needed. I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The entire place was well-furnished. The kitchen and bath were conveniently organized. The accomadations were spacious and the furnishings were comfortable from the sofas to the beds. The grounds were beautiful. I will be recommending Margaret's place to family members who will be visiting NZ later this year.
