My son and I stayed over on the way home from the Alps the central England. The location and accommodation was perfect for a quick stopover We’d left the Alps quite late and didn’t arrive until after midnight but late check in wasn’t a problem. We initially missed the gate to the Airbnb, it’s past the main gate on the other side of the house as shown in the pictures. Parking is on the roadside, so not private but perfectly fine. The accommodation has a basic kitchen and bathroom facilities. It’s a little rustic and I’m not sure I’d want to stay for a long period, but for one night it was ideal. Especially as the double bunk-beds were very comfortable. There are two rooms and a small toilet. Separation between bathroom, kitchen and bedroom is via curtains. So guests should be comfortable with each other as privacy is limited. Communication was great even though we didn’t have the privilege of meeting Julie and Nicolas. I’d definitely stay again when travelling through France

This house is everything we sought in the French campagne and more. It has the quiet, the nature, the ducks, plenty of garden furniture, books, a piano, a great kitchen, a huge table, plenty of kids toys for all ages, books, bikes. It’s paradise - and the parental suite is probably the most beautiful place we stayed at in years. It’s also simple and unpretentious, the host is super responsive and we’re just really waiting to come back next year!

Le Moulin de Fourtin is a beautiful and conveniently located property. We had a very pleasant stay with family and friends. The house is spacious, the kitchen well equipped and the bedrooms comfortable. Tennis and heated pool enhance the stay. Thanks to Halima for his hospitality and kindness.

We had a pleasant stay at Alain's. The hosting was very friendly. The listing is as described; a little extra surprise was even waiting for us. Location is very convenient to enjoy the lake. We'll be happy to go back!

Quiet, clean, well-equipped place. Big plus with space to park inside the courtyard and outside with terrace. The only thing to improve would be the sliding door to the room. And the bedding (you can feel the bars of the bed frame). Otherwise we had a good stay!

A very beautiful family home, welcoming with its huge garden, beautiful veranda and large living room. You can listen to music in excellent conditions and experience the sunset through the bay overlooking the countryside. We dream of coming back...
