Vacation rentals with beach access in Athenree

Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

Fabulous apartment. Spotlessly clean. Was lovely to meet Cheryl and Mark, who gave us some great tips on places to visit. We went to Bowentown and went to the top, the views were stunning. Loved the special touches like cereal, toast, toppings and milk, much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was very good. Cheryl's garden was beautiful and you could actually hear the waves whilst sitting with our morning coffee. Just a short walk to the beach too. Absolutely recommend and would love to return.

What a lovely place to stay and the location is super close to the beach. Jackson is an awesome host. Great communication and very helpful. Hope to stay here again when we’re visiting Tauranga.

We had such a wonderful time! This is truly a beautiful Airbnb in a stunning location. It had everything we could possibly need and Robyn made us feel right at home. Our son enjoyed all the toys, puzzles and wanted to go kayaking as soon as his eyes opened in the morning. We will be back!

This was my first time staying at David & Dianne's Airbnb. Although a very short stay, due to an early flight out of Auckland, I would have no hesitation in staying here again and giving a recommendation. The unit was very spacious and spotless, with great communication of where everything is kept etc. Fabulous location to Mount Maunganui restaurants, shops, surf beach and Pilot Bay. The accommodation was beautiful & had a unique layout which we loved. It was a lovely weekend out of the city to enjoy the beaches with my husband & dog. The place had everything we needed & was close to all the spots we wanted to visit ☺️ the info & recommendations were great from the host!

We particularly enjoyed the sitting out on the deck soaking in the sunshine, and the outdoor shower was bliss. We appreciated your quick responses and helpful recommendations. It was a good fit for our whole family, including our small dog. The location was a highlight, with the beach just a short walk away. The living area was cosy and worked really well for relaxing and watching movies on the rainy days.

Dave was communicative and flexible, and the place was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Leanne’s place suited our needs perfectly. We were a small group at the Mount for a sports event and found the full kitchen, two bathrooms and shared living space suited our needs well. The beach and a great cafe were only a very short walk away and with our rental car we found all parts of the area easily accessible. Thank you Leanne and Stephen!

Rob was a great host, super quick responses and opened the house to us earlier when their was no guests before us. House is very spacious and homey. Kid friendly and the beach right across the road. We will always look for robs place first when we come back to Waihi beach!

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The apartment itself is so spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The location was close to everything- we walked everywhere the weekend. Will most definitely be back - this is the perfect place for a weekend in the Mount!

The apartment was perfect. Good underground parking. Close to the venue we were attending. Just a couple of minutes walk to the city centre and restaurants. Very quiet. Arihia and Char were excellent hosts.

This is the second time I staid at Trudi’s place and both times I felt right at home. Trudi is so great and made me feel so comfortable! The space is beautiful and cozy and in a great spot. Close to lots of restaurants and the beach!! I will definitely bring back! Thanks Trudi xx

Excellent location. Close to everything. Clean and tidy, well lived in, apartment. Very small 2nd bedroom (office size) straight off the lounge. Perfect for us though, we enjoyed our stay. Brooke was a great- excellent comms.

The flat is conveniently located near a lot of shopping and restaurants. The back of the apartment complex has direct access to the beach. We had a great stay.

Fantastic, clear instructions which included everything you needed to know. It's a great location and was perfect for us being close to our beach event and also close to shops/restaurants. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. We were so grateful of the fans in the lounge and bedrooms!

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.
