We had a lovely time and there is plenty to like about Kristie's place. Obviously the proximity to the beach but also the outdoor shower setting and large porch were standouts for me. We were travelling with 3 large dogs so the fully fenced front yard was great. Very clean and well presented.

We felt so at home at Jessica's place! The home is equipped with everything you need for both short and long stays. The neighbourhood was quiet and the location was perfect for a beach getaway. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future 😊

Debbie's house is lovely, well-appointed, and well-suited for our group of friends to stay. She is a very responsive & proactive host, who went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable.

This wee bach was great !! Ideal for our doggos to run around and be safe in the yard , very close to the beach. Definitely recommend 😁

Stellas house was an amazing place to stay. Across the road from the beach, can see the water, walking distance to shops. Great house and fantastic location..

The bach was great. Small and compact but had everything you need, and within walking distance to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. Had a great deck, though the weather wasn't the best so we didn't get to use it as much as we could have. It was very handy to have access to the garage to be able to lock our bikes up securely. Would highly recommend to others.

Sharon was a friendly, informative host from the outset. The privacy of her place along with its amenities were perfect for our situation. We would not look to book elsewhere if in Whangamata again.

It was easy to communicate with Sharn. The accommodation is spacious and nice, and the house comes with a large garden and a trampoline! Sharn kindly allowed us to eat the fruit from the garden, and the plums were delicious.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We especially loved the pool—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Catherine's place exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredibly roomy, making it perfect for relaxing, spending time with others, or just enjoying some quiet downtime. There were plenty of things to do, which kept everyone entertained throughout the stay—whether it was exploring the surroundings or enjoying the pool, reading books and playing the piano. What really stood out, though, was Catherine's hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a handwritten note and some thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It's those personal touches that really make a difference and show how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I honestly can’t think of a single downside. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

Yana has been amazing, our team stayed for two weeks at her lovely accommodation, she was very easy going and pleasant to deal with, we will be back in the area soon and are hoping we can stay again. The team were very pleased with the accommodation too, the spa bath was a lovely addition after a hard day's work, they also enjoyed watching the stars and listening to the birds - it was a perfect escape from the busy day on the road. We highly recommend Yana's hideaway to anyone!

Nicola went above and beyond for me and my friends for my 40th birthday. The house has so much character and so much to do. The tennis court and swimming pool were an added bonus on top of everything else. The house had everything we needed. Great place for everyone to enjoy.

We absolutely loved our stay. Nathan was incredibly welcoming and allowed us to use his place for our small wedding ceremony. It was the most amazing day and we really enjoyed our entire stay. Thanks again Nathan!! We will always remember this beautiful space that we held our special day at. ☺️

Let me just say, if i am ever in Tauranga again (from Florida), I know a fantastic B&B. Laura is a warm and welcoming host and her accommodation is clean, stylish, and comfortable. She is a detail person and it shows. We loved the neighborhood. Mount Maunganui was an easy drive and a great hike. The hot water pool at the base was relaxing. Laura cooked for us one night after a full day of activity. Delicious. Our stay at Laura's was a highlight of our NZ holiday.

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for our mini-moon! From the moment we arrived, we were in love—gorgeous flower gardens, dreamy hydrangeas, and the most charming vintage decor that was so our vibe. Every little detail was thoughtful and welcoming. Our small dog, Hazel, was just as happy as we were, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and exploring the garden. It felt like a cosy, romantic escape while still having all the comforts of home. We truly didn’t want to leave! Love, love, love—would stay again in a heartbeat! 💕✨🐾

Just when we thought Airbnb hosts couldn’t get any better, we spent our King’s weekend at the Harbour Drive Hide Out. Paul & Fiona are the best yet! They made their home so welcoming to us from the moment we stepped in the door, it was unforgettable. They even prepared treats and a doggie bed for our paw-baby! Thank you so much!!! We will be back next year so please have your massage chair ready!! 🥹🥰

This was one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed at. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the attention to detail was fantastic. The outdoor shower was a great bonus, and the waffle station was such a fun and unique touch – my friend had a blast making waffles for breakfast! The outdoor area is lovely and well set up, with a BBQ that we didn’t get the chance to use on this short trip, but we’re already planning to come back. The high fences made it feel really secure, especially great for those travelling with dogs. Gerard was fantastic – super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. In terms of cleanliness, location, and amenities, this was the best place we’ve ever stayed. Can’t wait to return!

This was our second time stating at Renees place and it was just as good as the first time. Such a great spot with plenty of room for our group. Convenient location and nice quiet neighbourhood. Clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay & will certainly be booking again. The house was really well set up & warm on the cooler winter evenings. Everything was clean, well organized & easy to find spare blankets etc. Tania was easily contactable & friendly. We all left saying it was the best air bnb house we've stayed in by far!

Katrina’s cabin was a cosy spot, in beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay, and would love to head back to stay after doing The Pinnacles walk.
