Was worth the price and was very accommodating

The apartment is in the most tourist place in the city, as described. Very clean, wide, comfortable and well organized for a family - never ending hot water, own entrance, places to store things, kitchen supplies. The only thing I really missed, is a coffeemaker, but we survived. We loved the yard to take rest in the evening. Mehmet is very comprehensive and polite, really helpfull, Thanks a lot!. If we visit Istanbul in future, we will look for this place again, for sure. I recommend!

Very nice and clean place, comfortable and spacious room, it was on the ground floor and this is important for me, everything was very good and smooth, the only negative thing is that the neighborhood is a little old but safe

Volkan’s place is perfectly located in the heart of Istanbul, just a short walk from major historical landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar. The apartment itself is cozy, clean, and beautifully designed with blue accents that match its name. It’s in a touristic area, so you won’t need to deal with traffic just to reach the highlights of the city. The T1 tram line is also nearby, making it convenient to get around. Despite being in the city center, the place feels peaceful and secure. Volkan is a truly professional and attentive host. He speaks English fluently, which made communication smooth and easy. He provided clear check-in instructions and was always available for help. The stay exceeded expectations in both comfort and hospitality. I would absolutely return here on future trips to Istanbul, especially if staying in the Fatih area again.

We stayed in this accomodation for 5 nights, throughout our stay we observed a very responsive, kind and helpfull host and supporting team! The issues we encountered were fixed in no time. It is a family run business, and the beauty was in the small details. Accomodation is located within 10min from the main shopping street, where you can always find something at any time of the day. In short, great value for the price!

We felt safe and even though neighbourhood is a bit run down it feels safe and close to main city of town and lots of excellent restaurants. Good place for families and couples

We recently stayed at Salim Bey Apartment in Istanbul and had a fantastic experience. The apartment was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and both of the toilets have bidet and water hose The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and several great restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Istanbul. I would definitely stay here again!

Volkan’s place is a hidden gem, in the perfect location to walk to all of the sights and sounds in Old Town Istanbul. Volkan was there to greet us when we arrived, showed us around, had recommendations for restaurants and checked in on us during our stay. His apartment is cozy, clean and has everything you need, including a washing machine. He arranged a private transfer to the airport for us and when a friend left her cell phone in the apartment, he went way above and beyond in getting it to her before our flight left. Volkan is kind, personable, and so helpful. His place is perfect for a family or group of up to three friends who want to explore Istanbul. Staying at his place definitely made our time in beautiful Istanbul even better. I will recommend Volkan’s place to any friends or family visiting Istanbul!

We had a fantastic stay at Nevzat’s place. It was in a great location close to Galata tower and walking distance to Taksim square with multiple lovely restaurants nearby. The place was fitted with great amenities. Would love to come again!

Awesome host with great view

First of all, thank you to Ms. Yasemin, she was very caring and kind. She was helpful even before and after our stay. The house we stayed in was very nice, everything was tidy and nice. For guests, almost everything was considered.

Beautiful apartment right across the main areas of Taksim & Istiklal street, you can access the other side easily via the underground pass right at the entrance of the apartment. Amenities in the house is great and adequate, and great for small group or family. they also provided entertainment set which includes streaming services if you need those. love the fact that they had washer AND dryer as well! made it easy for us to handle our laundry. the hosts and their manager are also very responsive during our stay, even tho we texted them close to midnight to help with some of the house details. overall great value for money, wish i had found this apartment sooner, we only found it towards the end of our trip in Istanbul.

Celal and crew were a great hosting team. Super helpful and friendly. Welcoming. Quickly responded to questions and provided lots of recommendations. Was very understanding when we had to fix an issue with the booking and got it resolved straight away. The place itself is really nice, too. A beautiful view over the sea, it's quiet and secluded but still close to lots of attractions and restaurants, and it just feels very homey and cozy inside.

The biggest highlight is that you can walk to most attractions, come back to rest at noon, and go out again in the afternoon. The Blue Mosque is a 7-minute walk, Hagia Sophia is a 10-minute walk, the Underground Palace is a 9-minute walk, the Grand Bazaar is a 16-minute walk, the Spice Market is a 25-minute walk, and the Bosphorus Strait is a 30-minute walk. That's enough.

Very Friendly and had a Home environment that felt like a Host instead of a Guest

Awesome stay here! Yes, Taksim is noisy but I knew this when booking. It’s in a great location and perfect for the solo traveller or a couple. Would love to stay here again!

I stayed here for the second time and once again, I was very satisfied. It is very close to Taksim metro station, the neighborhood is very pleasant, and in the apartment you can find everything you need in a clean and comfortable atmospher. Host is very kind and responds quickly.

Behlul was a really great host. He was very easy to contact and the place was nice. He was helpful and charming. Although the place was a tiny bit different from the pictures, it was all worth the price. Definitely recommend staying and I would stay at this place next time as well.

The only flaw in the bathroom is the shower siphon and mounted in the wrong inclination and therefore the water does not come out but must be accompanied with a spatula
