Summer cottage/cabin at Grundsjön

Bed linens and towels should be brought by yourself. Cleaning must be done before checking out and must be done thoroughly, for example, vacuuming, drying the floors, dusting the bathroom and kitchen. The house has two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. Large terrace with 6 comfortable chairs for dining group with large parasol and lounge furniture placed in sun/shade. Flat, large lawn and playhouse for the children.

The house overlooks Lake Övre Brocken. There's water on both sides of the house. It is a year-round cottage with heating cables on all floors. There are three bedrooms, 2 toilets, shower and sauna. The living room has high ceilings with a kitchen and fireplace. The porch goes around the whole house, so you can follow the sun and barbecue outside. At the campsite you can rent a canoe, swim, fish or cycle. In the autumn, you can pick mushrooms and berries. In winter, there is ice fishing, snow scooter trails and skiing.

Here you live with the silence in the middle of nature, right by a lake but with all the amenities you might need. In the surrounding area there are several lakes and nice fishing waters, the opportunity to pick berries and mushrooms, hike or why not take a trip up to "Rännbergs Toppen" (hiking trail up to a nearby mountain peak)

The cottage is located with lake views over the lake Velen, only 10 minutes from Torsby city center. Some nearby attractions are Hovfjället with ski resort and snowmobile trails, Torsby ski tunnel with cross-country skiing all year round. If you enjoy hiking, a trip up to Skallastugan up on the mountain is recommended, to overlook the beautiful nature. With the beach location to Lake Velen, there are nice opportunities for both fishing and swimming. Boat available to rent.

The Hövfjallet ski resort and nature reserve is an 8-minute drive from the cottage. Branäs, the number 1 ski resort for families in Sweden, is a 45-minute drive away.

The cottage is situated in a undisturbed area with the most amazing view over the lake Fryken. About 300 metres from the beach and 2 km from restaurants, groceries store, railway station and gas station. In the cabin you'll find a cosy stove, shower and a small kitchen. I think you're really gonna enjoy just hanging out and relax on the farmyard.
