We loved the apartment. Clean, tidy, and very well equipped. Location was very central, few meters to well-stocked grocery store and baker, yet very quiet. A good starting point for activities of all kinds. The communication with Claudia was great, check in and out without any problems.

Great place to stay, just know that if you book during the weekend, it is a college town and kids drink and get loud outside. Nothing cosmic, just mildly annoying at 0100-0200.

It was absolutely great to be there! We felt very well looked after and it was uniquely quiet in this central location. The apartment was beautifully furnished and there was nothing missing.

Our friends weekend with 9 people was a great success thanks to the nice airbnb! Flexible hosts, customizable time for check out and tidy beds have made the stay even more pleasant. Frank and Liesbeth are very friendly and flexible hosts, where we would like to stay again in the future. Thank you again and keep it up!!

Anna and Raphael's apartment was the most complete I have experienced so far, now many years of travel experience. For us from the first time Airbnb with baby (10 months) and also for him everything was thought of, up to and including a special baby towel and nice toys. Everything was in the theme ocean, but not exaggerated. Very nice job. The apartment was absolutely sparkling clean. It is a quiet neighborhood, with a nice lake within walking distance. This place is really recommended to get away from it all (and for the Dutch) not have to drive long.

Like the first time, everything was great. Very clean..everything lovingly prepared. Clara (landlady) came by once to ask if everything is okay! But EVERYTHING is really right here! From the apartments, everything is within walking distance, city center and also the beach. We will be happy to come back!!!

Remote enough to be peaceful. Close enough to access everything we needed. Plenty of room, careful attention to detail, a lot of unexpected bonuses like food, wine, spa elements, etc. Very comfortable and easy. Ina was very gracious and we had no issues.

Lovely cottage in a farm house. The bed is extremely comfortable, pictures don't do the place justice, the interior is very cozy and charming. Host is very kind and the place feels home. Shops are walking distance, and the house is located opposite the canal, sunsets are beautiful. There is a bus 5 minutes walk from the house. Nice area to relax and unwind - away from the hustle and bustle of cities. The neighbourhood is peaceful and the villagers are friendly.

the apartment was very nice and well taken care of. We had a problem with the radiators, but Tonnis tried to solve it as quickly as possible.

Aukje and Emma are wonderful hosts! The contact was super friendly and they were available anytime. The house right on the water is a dream! The amenities are perfect and we were even able to borrow two bikes. We felt very comfortable! You can make great trips in the area. If you want to spend a nice time in Friesland, be sure to book this house:-)

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

We were allowed to spend an unforgettable week in the "Old Painters House." Upon arrival it becomes clear: The location is an absolute dream. Quietly located, right on the water and away from the small country road, great for switching off. The decor is not only tasteful and cozy, but also designed with a lot of love for detail. We especially liked the large bedroom with its wide view over the surrounding meadows. A real highlight was the observation of thousands of nuns - right from bed! Nature up close without leaving the house. A short walk leads over a small jetty to the Sieltor, from where you can enjoy a great view of Ems and Dollart. Although the nearest rolls are a bit far away, they are of the highest quality. Conclusion: A wonderful vacation home with a very special atmosphere, surrounded by a quiet, inspiring environment. A week full of peace, nature and well-being – we will be happy to come back!

We were in an Airbnb for the first time with our dogs and Jeannette and Ton's stay was extremely suitable for that. A wonderfully quiet area and privacy. The accommodation was very cozy, complete and cozy. We and our dogs enjoyed ourselves very much. Even in the immediate vicinity, it is wonderful to walk (in our case) but also a little further away at Ommen it is beautiful. In short, recommended.

Was a nice and clean chalet and everything was provided towels, kitchen/tea towels and even tea and coffee facilities cleaning resources perfect..

The best neighborhood , a minute walk from downtown and a place that feels just like home! Timnette and her husband welcomed us to their beautiful home and very lovely people . We checked in early because we arrived early but enjoyed the walk straight after in the area. Plenty of restaurants around , supermarket is 5 minutes walking and home was fully equipped with everything. I wish we stayed for longer it was th perfect holiday home. Thank you for making our stay super memorable with my mother 🫶🏼

Great reception, everything well explained and a lovely apartment with a great collection of games from the host's own childhood. Children and parents thus benefit, even in bad weather, from the good amenities of the apartment.

I was in the apartment all of November. It was very bright and sunny and well appointed. With the small vacuum cleaner, the floors could also be kept dust-free for house dust allergy sufferers, much better than with the initially only available broom. I would have been very happy about a bedside table with a lamp, but the bedside lamp was immediately procured when I asked for it. Ralf takes really great care. If he is not on site, he organizes help from the immediate neighborhood.

Everything is great. Marcel and his wife help with everything, are very friendly and relaxed. We rented Marcel's electric boat and took a tour of the canals and lake. It was wonderful. Marcel briefed us well. Thanks!

The accomodation is located in a wonderful and silent neighborhood. The apartement was clean, very well equipped and cosy. The owners were friendly, Christel was quick to react if needed. We had a lovely stay and would gladly return.

We stayed there for one night and were received super nicely. Great landlord and super nice apartment. We can highly recommend it! :)

We stayed for a short 2 days to visit the open day at Meppel NHLstenden with our daughter. It was a perfect place to stay, in the middle of the city where we could walk to everything. Convenient parking garage just a block away. Place looked just like in the pictures, very colorful and quirky.

What a wonderful stay. I was here around New Year's Eve, and the space was incredibly cozy and cozy. Small lights, candles and of course the wood stove! I went here for the silence, and it was quiet. I barely heard any fireworks. Lovely! Linda and Sjoerd are incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd love to come back!
