The cottage is beautifully located on the hill of Røveråsen, about a 20-minute walk away, which provides absolutely stunning views over the fjord and the strait towards Skjærhalden, Kirkøy and Nordre Sandøy, AND first-class sun conditions from morning to evening. In the cabin there are 2 bedrooms with 4 beds, and in the annex there are 4-6 beds.

Welcome to "the cabin" at Hvalstrand jetty! Bua is a cozy little cabin located on Hvaler's perhaps most charming marina. Here it is quiet and peaceful while you get a taste of the boat life. The house is located in connection with the boat docks, so you can expect to meet people who vacation in their boats. There are swimming facilities on site with a swimming ladder at the end of the boat dock. The surroundings consist of a lot of beautiful nature with forests, trails and mountains. Here, you can enjoy quiet and peaceful days in the garden, or go for a walk to the lake. Both Spjærekilen with good bathing opportunities and Kjellvika is within walking distance. Generally good hiking opportunities. Whether you want to enjoy the quiet days or want to explore Hvaler, this is a nice base. Shops about 5 km away. We have 7 happy hens that partly roam freely.

Holiday apartment by the lake, Hvaler

From this apartment centrally located on Hvaler, you have immediate proximity to the lake and great archipelago nature. At the marina there are guest places for boats for a fee (guests must check for availability) This is an excellent starting point for paddling, surfing or other water sports activities. Ytre Hvaler National Park, with great hiking areas and coastal trails, is about 1 km away. There is also a small sandy beach 100 m from the house. There is a kiosk, restaurant and marina in the area.

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

Access to private pier to swim in the ocean as well as kayaks, tennis court and great hiking opportunities included.
