A flowing river, with water cascading over rocks, is surrounded by greenery and trees. The sun reflects off the water's surface, creating glimmers. In the background, a rustic stone building is partially visible, set against a landscape with rolling hills.

Cosy ground floor cottage in Yorkshire Dales

WillRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great ground floor cottage in a beautiful village. We used this property as a base for work with a nearby hotel and it suited us perfectly. Very well equipped, clean and cosy cottage. My only minor negative is the location pin took us to another property further up the road, but we soon found the cottage!

Heart Of Hawes Holiday Cottage

KathrynRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful spotless and comfy cottage in a great location in the centre of Hawes. Stuart and Jo are friendly and helpful hosts who clearly care that their guests enjoy their holiday. The local information pack was brilliant and the cottage has been meticulously renovated and kitted out with an outstanding attention to detail and with their guests in mind. Would definitely recommend.

River Dance Cottage, Aysgarth

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow what a beautiful little cottage ❤️ everything was to such high standard. It was such a beautiful area looking right out onto the river. There was lots of lovely little touches a welcome basket, towels and dressing gowns just to say a few. Emma was very helpful before our trip recommending the pub at the top of the hill for food which was amazing. I would highly recommend.

Stunning Views over the Swale, Barn Cottage.

LauraRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a lovely stay in the cottage over New Year’s Eve. The wood burner made it feel very cosy, and it’s really well equipped - it has pretty much everything you might need for a few nights stay. The location is perfect for walking - we did a couple straight from the cottage, with really varied landscapes which were absolutely stunning, including rivers, big vistas and farmland, ending with an excellent pub in Gunnerside. Just a couple of things, which wouldn’t bring my review score down but worth noting - we couldn’t get the washing machine to work, which didn’t really matter to us but worth checking with Harriet if it’s an essential. Also, the hairdryer wasn’t great so worth bringing your own if your hair takes hours to dry like mine! Lastly, the sound system is pretty old and doesn’t have Bluetooth, so better bring a speaker if you like listening to music. Overall, we loved the cottage and had a fantastic stay!

Fernlea, lovely stone Dales cottage

PhilipRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fernlea is a lovely cottage and the perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Very well appointed accommodation and the parking space is a real bonus. The nearby Rose and Crown Hotel is well worth a visit with a very friendly new management team and a good selection of “pub grub” at reasonable prices, their triple cooked chips are superb!
