Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ashland County

Trudi’s place is perfectly situated for ease of travel around the Bellville, Butler and Londounville area. We spent time at Mohican Adventures and it was just a short drive away. It also gave us an opportunity to have a peaceful place to come back to. The land around the house is just beautiful. We walked and my husband and son were able to kick the soccer ball around.

It was a great spot. I ran the Mohican 100 and it was close to the start and the aid stations. A good spot for what we needed!

Had an awesome time at this charming little cabin! Such a beautiful and peaceful location. Lisa responded to questions very quickly, and you can tell she cares about the experience of her guests.

Perfect location for a family wedding in the area. We enjoyed our stay. Mary was responsive to questions.

Bethany was a great host. She checked in multiple times to see if we needed anything. The house was very clean and very comfortable. We brought motorcycles and she had no issues with us starting them around the horses. I would highly recommend staying here especially if you enjoy animals.

I absolutely loved this house. I am a big fan of watching birds and I was able to sit outside with a cup of tea and do just that. loved the house and setting! I periodically visit Ashland to see my family in Mansfield and eat at my favorite restaurant South Street Grille. The house was wonderful. I would buy this house in a heartbeat if it ever went up for sale. 😆

This place was perfect for what we wanted. Peaceful, quiet and a pond with lots of bass to catch. We were met upon arrival by the owner who answered all of our questions and assured us they were a phone call away if we had any problems. We totally enjoyed the very peaceful atmosphere, it was a perfect weekend getaway for my husband and myself.

This was our 2nd time here, and we always enjoy it. Coming back kinda felt like 'coming home'. Perhaps we'll see you next year too!

We had an amazing time and the location could not have been better. They have everything you could need in the house and the shed is full of beach toys, chairs, wagons, fishing poles, literally anything you could think you may need on a beach vacation. Beach was just a few houses down and we went every morning and evening. House was the perfect size for our family of six. Patio tavern across the street from the neighborhood had music on the weekend you could sit outside and listen to but couldn’t hear inside the house so it was perfect. We hope to be able to stay again next time we’re in town! Highly recommend.

Definitely recommend a stay at this fun, playful, eclectic place. I had a short notice need for a quick lay-over in CLE in route home to Vermont & this place worked great ... Heather was super accommodating and very responsive.

This was the perfect place to stay for three friends attending an agriculture conference. The house was tidy and comfortable.

Lyle's place was a great place to stay. We visited our son at nearby Kenyon College, and the location was perfect—it was just a quick drive to campus. Lyle's place is a lot bigger than we expected it. At least six people can stay there very comfortably and the place is set up with a crib so it would be a great place for families with little kids. To access the place you have to walk through the back yard lawn. It is not a big deal but your shoes will get wet on a rainy or snowy day and can be a little dark to navigate at night. I would stay in Lyle's place again.

This place was so charming, and there was such a beautiful and peaceful yard to lounge in. Also we loved the Nespresso machine, better than a Keurig, we'd definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was worried about it being an apartment and not having much privacy but it felt very private. The beds were VERY comfortable and that’s always a gamble when staying somewhere. Very clean. We enjoyed having drinking water provided as well. We enjoyed being right in town within walking distance to the brickyard. We will definitely stay here again next year for this event if we have the chance to. Highly recommend.

Another great stay at Linda’s place! Truly the perfect location for spending the weekend at Oberlin college. We were in town for commencement and felt so fortunate to be able to return to Linda’s place for midday reprieves or for a nightcap with fellow parents. A delightful and comfortable stay for a wonderful weekend!

A very unique location, complete privacy, except for all the Whitetail Deer and other terrific wildlife that we witnessed. Loved it!

The cabin was exceptionally clean, and both the hot tub and the home were well-maintained. I would strongly recommend this Airbnb to anyone, and I would definitely choose to stay here again if I find myself in the area. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and I truly appreciate the warm hospitality extended to us during our stay at your cabin.

We had a wonderful time at Frog Water Farm! It is a beautiful spot—quiet & peaceful. The house had everything we needed including a lovely screened in porch for reading, meditation, meals, etc. We loved the fact that there are hiking trails on the property! This is great spot to stay & visit for sure!

Karey's place was the most phenomenal cabin I've ever stayed in. It was spotless and super cozy. Everywhere you looked there was an adorable finishing touch- she really thought of everything! The bottle of Mimosa and sweet note for my boyfriend's birthday was such a nice addition! While there are plenty of parks, shops, and restaurants within 15 minutes surrounding the cabin - we would have been perfectly happy and entertained just staying at the cabin the whole time! Thank you, Karey, for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful place.

Beautiful house and the location was perfect in relation to our wedding venue. we're definitely coming back at a later date just to enjoy Mohican. Maybe I'll even bring my horses next time!

Our family gets together for Thanksgiving each year, we come in from Florida, PA and certainly Ohio. This year we chose this cabin / home and it was perfect. It really is a beautiful home and is large enough to accommodate our overnighters. I would absolutely recommend this home. A couple notes, the main fireplace is restricted from use, it was disclosed but it’s a focal point of the home and was disappointing not to be able to use it… Be aware the drive to the cabin once off the main road was challenging for an average car, I’m not sure if we had gotten snow, it would have been that easy to get back out… Also do not arrive after dark, that was a challenge, no lights were left on at all, we were 20’ from the cabin and could not see it… Now with that said, the atmosphere in and out was amazing. The fire pit outside was so much fun, the views are outstanding and the bottom line is we would absolutely recommend this property…

We stayed at Francisco’s A-Frame cabin during the American Triple-T triathlon weekend. It was just the right size for us and just a couple minutes away from the beach at Pleasant Valley Lake. The cabin is on a quiet side street and the hot tub is behind the cabin for some privacy. During the stay I was in contact with Francisco and he responded promptly. After the stay I noticed I forgot something in the cabin and Francisco allowed me to retrieve it. It’s a great cabin for a stay near the lake.

Tony’s place offers so many things…sublime book selection for those who prefer to pontificate rather then watch TV or their phone. Wonderful place for a private time & families as well. (For kids lots to do farms with cows, pigs, goats variety of birds, gophers, maybe even a couple of woodchucks) see the tractors & cool things that the heart of America was built with… remind them what it was like before we all had cell phones. Make a memory that’ll last forever no phone needed! Fields for miles=literal kid paradise..after sitting in a car waiting to get there-turn them loose in the fields out back or let them go visit the bullfrogs in the front pond with Peepers chirping away Peaceful & very safe for couples, families & kids Pool, hot tub fun for everyone!!
