From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. You rent the entire building, so you don't have to worry about sharing it with others. The house only has a shower, but there is a hot spring nearby. (7-minute walk) Ideal for the currently popular workcation. Combined with the adjacent Ume House, it can accommodate up to 8 guests.

This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. You would feel like your own home away from home. 5 minutes walk to the Zenkoji temple and 4 minutes to the bus stop for Togakushi national park.
