Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ashibetsu

Karl was the perfect host. He kept in touch, making sure we enjoyed a seamless check-in, easy parking, recommendations for places to eat etc. We loved our stay, especially with some extra elbow room, washing machine, kitchen ameneties and a lovely comfortable bed. We wish we had booked more than two nights here as a full day in Daisetsuzan NP gave us little time to explore Higashikawa. Thanks Karl. Your home away from home is a gem.

Before check in The host was always quick to respond to our questions and needs prior to our stay and provided a precise response to help us resolve many of our queries effectively. -------------------------------- Checking in 1. Space & Facilities The common space is large enough to accommodate multiple people at the same time for chat and social needs.The overall environment is comfortable and kept clean and tidy. There are plenty of toilets and bathrooms to cater for the use of multiple guests. The kitchen is fully equipped for all culinary needs.Also, the open kitchen is designed to allow people to interact with other guests, even if they are busy cooking, without missing any chat moments. 2. Location The homestay is about 10 minutes on foot from Kitacho Peaku, and the transportation is convenient. The surrounding area has multiple dining options, including restaurants with food trucks, and is walkable to Lawson convenient store for good living. 3. The apartment was well equipped and very cozy. It is very clean and offers all required equipment. The apartment is close to the city center and also offers a parking spot. We would definitely go back! Thanks again.

Host was very responsive, very helpful and also helped with day to day queries. Helped us book restaurant as well locally. Great homely feel to the place. Kitchen/bar is great space to hang out

Clean and pristine, had all the amenities we required. Pillows were really hard though, but that could be just personal preference. Walkable distance to supermarket, convenience store, great coffee from Yoshida Coffee, Chateraise, Toriton Sushi... Check in took a while as the assigned agent took some time to respond to our call, through no fault of the host.

This is by far the best place we have stayed in Japan so far. Better than any hotel, it offers so much peace, quiet, and comfort. The host is so kind and friendly, and the home was the cleanest place we have stayed. Beds are so comfortable, the amenities are all so new, this is our new favorite home in Sapporo. We hope the owner will let us stay many more times in the future, we felt honored to be so well taken care of.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this property! The host was incredibly considerate, providing detailed manuals for all the devices, which was a huge help for non-Japanese guests like me. The space was big and spacious, and the sheltered parking area was a great bonus. I also appreciated the host lending me snowboard equipment that fit perfectly. It made exploring the various ski resorts within an hour's radius so convenient. Highly recommend this place!

The apartment may look a little dated in the photos, but it is clean and well maintained, with all the essential amenities we needed. It is also conveniently located, just a short walk from Chitose train station or Chitose eki mae bus stop (directly from the airport), which made getting around very easy. Overall, it offers great value for a comfortable overnight stay.

Very good room. Very good host. He is very warm and helped me carry my luggage to the door of the room. He will respond to any needs in a timely manner. He is really a very good, very gentle person. The room is the same as the picture description. Clean and tidy. All the necessities are available. The location is also great. It is only a 6-minute walk from the subway station. There is a 711 in a 3-minute walk. It takes more than 10 minutes to get to Sapporo Station by subway. It is very convenient!I want to stay here again next time I come to Sapporo (o ^^ o)

Beautifully furnished that looks just like the photos. Well equipped with plenty of amenities and soft and comfortable linens. Is nested along roads so there might be some noise but overall, is not that noticeable. As described, location is best suited for those driving as it is away from public transportation. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay!

Thank you for having me over the past 3 days. The host went to great lengths to picking me up in her BMW and extending checkout time. However, do note that there is no dryer and air conditioning. The summer months may be exhaustingly hot without the AC.

We loved staying here, it was perfect for our family of four. The rental was so convenient and comfortable, and the location was ideal for getting around by train or on foot. We would love to stay again!

The place was clean and we found everything we needed to cook here. It was very close to the station and easy to reach. All necessary information was given and the host always responded right away.

Three bedroom apartment on the 5th floor had amazing views from all rooms. We enjoyed the space. We had difficulty getting in as they sent the wrong code but it was rectified immediately which was impressive. It is a hard walk in the snow with ski gear as it is an uphill walk but luckily we had a car and used the carpark at the gondola. The car parking next to the accomodation was reserved for those that had a permit which we paid a small fee for and this was worth it. Would definitely stay again if we were to return.

This place was perfect for our family of 6. We could walk to local restaurants and it was close to parks and the Zoo. It was clean and had everything we required. Could not fault it. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect; a short walk to the Kitanomine Gondola and restaurants nearby. The host was friendly and gave clear instructions.

My kids rated this place as their best Airbnb experience. We travelled as a family of 4 elderly, 3 kids and 2 adults. The place is very spacious and kinda newly renovated, we definitely felt at home during the stay. There were toys, games, magazines to keep us entertained. So glad to have met Miki cooking delicious curry on our way out, its a pity that we didn't have chance to try it as we are out almost whole day. Based on smell, I can tell it should be very tasty. Bout the smell, there was hardly any when we come back every night. This place is like one of the highlight in our trip, very convenient when travelling around Furano and Asahikawa.
