Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Arugam Bay

Absolutely loved our stay here, felt like home right away. Spent many hours chilling on the outside sofas which are very very comfy. Had everything we needed with the kitchen and big fridge-freezer. Marie was amazing, gave us great tips for elephant & croc spotting (we saw loads just cruising around in a Tuk Tuk). The garden was beautiful and peaceful with fruit trees and flowers and an outside shower to cool down. Staying here made our time in Arugam Bay a wonderful experience. Thank you!

We had a perfect stay at Footprints.💗🦶 Actually I don't want to write anything as I hope and wish this place to stay secret 🤫... Get back to the elements with legendary cooking and good vibrations, dwelling in high frequency purity. Very thank full to just know places like this still exist. Feels like coming "ohm". Full of love and respect for source and the whole of existence. 🎶🎶🎶🌊🙏🫶

Our stay at Footprints was really special and felt like a real break from our lives in busy Galle. We arrived after dark, and had the treat of waking up to the view of the sea from our room, the jungle, a stunning sunrise and a surprisingly cool breeze. We stayed within the property for most of the weekend, relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. We loved walking on the beach, finding shells and my son loved climbing the rocks at the end of the beach next to the surf break. We paid extra for full board and ate three delicious meals a day prepared by Akila’s caretakers - all really tasty, thoughtfully prepared and attention given to my sons special requests. Akila and his caretakers are excellent hosts. Extremely kind, caring and attentive. We really enjoyed living a simpler life for the weekend, in a true haven away from it all. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay somewhere which feels so secret, special and peaceful.
