Converted Barn overlooking fields.

Built in 1634, the Barn is on the edge of a village 5m from Market Harborough in Leicestershire. Converted in 2017, it's on our property but separate from it. Light and airy, it's one room/open plan downstairs, with areas for cooking, dining and relaxing. French doors lead out onto a pretty courtyard garden, with stone steps up to a raised area, where you can watch the sunset over the fields. Upstairs there's a well-equipped bedroom and bathroom with far reaching views over the countryside.

Peaceful, comfortable and surrounded by pretty countryside. Easy to get to and find. Very peaceful location and with really comfortable mattresses, we slept very well. Quiet sun-trap of a garden. The walk to Oxenden Tunnels was fun and we enjoyed dinner at The George. Worth booking ahead at the weekend.

Lovely hosts who are communicative and helpful. The Airbnb is a lovely place to stay, with a very spacious living room and a lovely balcony. The bed is comfy, and the bathroom is great. A lovely kitchen too, which had lots of coffee and milk/water etc stocked. Would happily come back again!
