Vacation rentals in Arronches

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

Frédéric & Simone were fabulous hosts, super friendly & welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay! The house is stunning- the views over the olive grove & really comfortable furnishings make it a perfect place to relax! We loved the luxurious style & attention to detail. The kitchen had everything you need & super comfortable beds as well as the pool & jacuzzi was brilliant whatever the weather. We also enjoyed local walks, lake swims & the nearby bakery (fresh bread daily just 5 min walk!) as well as a beautiful meal out at Montes de Argil restaurant! Highly recommended!

A super quiet, quiet space. With the best view of the Montargil dam and with a swimming pool with wonderful infinite views.

Everything was Ok. Nice appartement and very responsive owner of the place. Comfortable beds and several toilette and shower. We could go again without any hesitation.

A good place at a good price, everything very clean and cozy, the host Joaquin is very friendly and helpful. If we return to the area, we will definitely be back.

Tina’s place is a gem and so is Tina. She was super friendly and welcoming. The apartment is well equipped and the pool and surroundings are delightful. The bed is comfortable and on a platform accessed by a steep staircase. The town of Estremoz is fascinating with the biggest town square. We found an exceptional, if pricey restaurant. We would stay at Tina’s place again.

There were six of us for two nights in this wonderful place and we can only say: It was just wonderful! Miguel welcomed us warmly, and already upon our arrival all rooms were pleasantly heated while the fireplace was burning cheerfully. We immediately felt right at home. We particularly enjoyed the time in the spacious living room, where we played many games of billiards. The room is just perfect for socializing. It was particularly nice to go to the garden in the morning and pick fresh oranges, pomegranates or lemons from the trees – a real highlight! Another plus: The car could be parked right next to the place. A small point I would like to note concerns the address. This was only communicated to us after booking and was initially not quite correct. Since we had a journey of two hours, this could still be clarified in time, as Miguel responded very quickly to our request. Thank you!

Elsa and Rui were super friendly, helpful, and flexible. The space is super pleasant and the calm environment, perfect for a weekend out of town, very well equipped with everything that is needed. It is worth emphasizing the good reception of the guests, which has access to a small guide with recommendations, toiletries and souvenirs. The space also features air-conditioning and wifi. We also appreciate the flexibility in the check out that Elsa and Rui provided us with.

Beautiful place! Loved being surrounded by nature. The nearby river is the perfect place to relax with loved ones or to meditate.
