Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Arouca

Sandra’s house was such a dream. I went with my friends for 5 days and we had such a good time we didn’t even leave the property the entire time. The pool and outdoor areas were so nice, the views were amazing and you truly are in the heart of nature. We spend our days at the pool and nights watching the stars. The house had everything and it looks even better in real life ❤️ Sandra was super sweet and responsive :) we are looking forward to come back, maybe next year 😍 obrigada :)

Canelas is a beautiful town for a mountain getaway. We loved the beautiful views from the property and the pool was great for our summer visit. Arouca is a charming town and we enjoyed visiting the convent and the local shops. We took day trips to the beach in Espinho, Pesa da Régua to taste wine and port, and Porto. We loved hiking near the Rio de Paiva too. The accommodations are historic in feel but also comfortable. We were able to cook dinners using the utensils in the kitchen. Elisabete and Rosaria were very kind and easy to communicate with.

Lugar tranquilo com vistas incríveis. Tem um ambiente ótimo para relaxar uns dias. Boa piscina. Tem um PR muito próximo da casa. E tem gatinhos muito fofos!!

Excellent séjour à Cancela House! La maison est conforme à la description : charmante et atypique, cadre bucolique, calme, décoration soignée, bien équipée. Un petit havre de paix dans la petite montagne, au milieu des forêts d’eucalyptus. On s’y sent bien. Mention spéciale pour l’abri repas/barbecue très agréable, la charmante piscine avec vue et la jolie cour (avec super transats). Nous avons adoré le cadre et cette maison! Fatima était chaleureuse et réactive. Échanges très faciles. Si vous aimez l’authenticité, les hébergements typiques (et atypiques à la fois), découvrir ce coin de montagne, découvrir Arouca Geo Park (passadiços de Paiva + Arouca 516)… Allez-y !

La casa es agradable, muy amplia y limpia. Hemos pasado 3 días en familia con nuestra mascota y no nos falto de nada en ella. Las recomendaciones de Inés fueron muy acertadas y el sitio es tranquilo y fácil de visitar. El clima acompañó bastante nuestra estancia y nos amenizó las noches para dormir. Sin duda, la descripción de la casa y del sitio es 100% fiable y por supuesto, la recomiendo seguro.

Mais uma vez, uma excelente experiência na Casa da Ribeira. O espaço estava impecavelmente limpo, com um espaço exterior muito agradável e a anfitriã, como sempre, excelente.

È cordialissima, disponibile e sempre pronta a dare ottimi consigli. La sua ospitalità rende il soggiorno ancora più speciale. Five stars aren’t enough! We loved the little house. It’s charming and unique and offers all means of comfort you could wish for. We would come back there anytime! The host himself and his parents next door are the sweetest and most caring people. Even when we had questions and problems, they all went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We got support within minutes. I cannot express more how much we recommend this accomodation and how nice Bruno is. Thank you so much, this stay will be remembered 😃

Highly recommend this apartment. From start to finish everything went well. Hosts were amazing at communicating and offered helpful advice. Views were amazing from the balcony. Great location. Restaurants & tourist sites nearby. Very close to transport ie train station. Easy walkability. Great sunrise views & easy walk to sunset locations. As stated, highly recommended and would definitely stay here again! Thanks again!!

This location is not only unique for this area - easy access to everything, Port Cellars, Resto’s, bridge, river sightseeing but provides one of the most stunning and picturesque views of Porto - right from the front room with floor to ceiling windows. It’s a spectacular view, especially in the evening yet provides a peaceful and restful location to recoup after a day out. Great zone for day or evening walks right along the Douro with a dedicated river walkway. You won’t be disappointed!!

Hemos el viaje en familia y ha sido un placer. El ático muy amplio y confortable, y a un paso de todo lo interesante. El anfitrión muy amable en sus indicaciones y recomendaciones. Todo para repetir.

The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-decorated. Especially I loved the beach-facing lounge & balcony where I enjoyed the sunset and wave crashing sounds every day. Lovely surroundings such as walking trails, several restaurants and cafes, nearby supermarket(5mins by walk), and easy access to the city centre (20min by uber or bolt taxi). Our host Marcos was very kind and responsive. We had a truly amazing time in this place. I do hope we could come back to Porto and this place near future.

We enjoyed staying in Wei's place in Villa Nova de Gaia. very convenient to most of Porto via Metro, lots of resources in the area. Safe, secure parking was a plus.

Excelente alojamiento. El apartamento es muy simpático y cuenta con cocina bien equipada, 2 servicios completos, calefacción, lavadora y secadora, balcón, 3 habitaciones. Además es muy soleado y el ambiente de la zona es muy familiar. Zélia es un amor de persona, muy simpática y atenta. Abajo hay un pequeño supermercado que tiene de todo, y los precios son normales. Los accesos son fáciles y relativamente cerca de la autopista, por lo que si quieres ir a Oporto, Aveiro, etc es fácil. Muy recomendable. Repetiré sin duda.

Beautiful home in amazing location! Antonio’s place was incredible. More than enough space for family of 5 with really picturesque courtyards for enjoying the mild temperatures plus it was just across the street from the beach. The home was well-appointed, clean and had all we needed to make meals at home. It is a truly special place and Antonio was a wonderful, responsive host. We loved the restaurant he recommended. Can’t wait to come back again!

Estuvimos en Semana Santa un grupo de amigos. Estuvo en todo momento pendiente y disponible para lo que necesitáramos, la casa muy bonita y acogedora; la finca espectacular, una pena la lluvia por no poder usar la piscina, con anfitriones así da gusto viajar, 100% recomendable. To everyone who’s thinking of renting this house; if you’re having doubts, this is the sign to go for it. I’m speaking on behalf of my family and myself. We were a group of 8 who had the lovely opportunity to spend New Year’s Eve in this beautiful space. To start with, pictures don’t do justice to the gem you find when you pass through the entrance door. The house seems like it blends or comes out of the mountain itself. Maintaining original external features of what it seemed an old house that was carefully blended into the newer structure of the main house. When you enter you have the feeling of being at home and from any of the panoramic windows to the west side of the house you get the breathtaking views of the Douro river They’ve thought of all details and making it a perfectly functional house to not have to leave for as long as you plan to stay there. Having the breakfast service is also another extra service we were really happy to have thank you for the lovely experience.

Manu est une hôtesse très accueillante, avec plein de bons conseils sur les visites (caves sur le Douro....) et les lieux incontournables. A recommander sans hésitation. Le logement proposé est conforme à la description et dispose de beaucoup d'espace (très bien équipé et très propre)

We had an amazing stay at Diogo’s beautiful place. It is even better in real life than it looks on the photos, with great views and supermarkets / restaurants close by. The house is open and bright and perfect for a group of 10-15. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning

This place is peaceful and surrounded by nature with lots of trees and singing birds, includind the chickens that create an "quinta" atmosphere. The accommodations were clean and cozy, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and caring. I highly recommend this countryside gem for a relaxing escape.

Jeff's place is something you rarely find on Airbnb, it is a really beautiful property located in a protected, surrounded by nature and a river, silent valley. It is fully furnished, equipped with everything you may need or expect, perfectly cleaned, and very spacious. The kitchens (both in the main house and in the pool house) are basically professionals ones, with bbqs, smokers, all existing (high quality) kitchen utensils. Absolutely everything. The warm pool is stunning too and we used it in November! Before leaving after our 4 days we were looking at each other eyes, still surprised by the beauty and quality of the place. I could go on sharing all the great things we noticed, experienced and lived for much longer;) Congrats Jeff, you are really a fantastic host! Congrats Jeff, you are really a fantastic host!

We had a wonderful stay ! The view and grounds are stunning and we enjoyed every day out on the patio. The house is very well equipped for doing your own cooking. We would definitely recommend.
