Our stay was great! The house is very cozy and is in a super quiet area, perfect for those looking to relax and disconnect a little from the routine. It was impeccably clean and very well equipped, we had everything we needed. Mr. Luís was always very friendly and attentive, he was genuinely interested in knowing if everything was okay and even asked if there was anything he could improve. For me and my partner it was a really relaxing and enjoyable experience. We recommend it without hesitation and hope to return. Thank you so so much!

Casa located in a quiet place ideal for a group or family vacation. All rooms are suites, which is a bright spot for bathroom privacy. The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need at the level of appliances (toaster, coffee machine (delta), microwave, dishwasher) as well as dishwasher for a group of 10 people. The whole decoration is very beautiful and thought out. Outside spaces are large and well arranged, the space for the barbecue is impeccable. It is undoubtedly a place to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay with friends visiting Porto for a long weekend. The house has great amenities, including the pool, plenty of games, and great living areas. Check in process was smooth and communication was ongoing and consistent.

The property is spectacular. Above all, the outdoor space stands out, very spacious (with large green areas) and very nice. With its inner square, it feels like you're in a small town. It's a pity that the weather didn't cooperate and we couldn't get everything we wanted out of it. It also has a covered outdoor area with foosball (which was played a lot) and a game room (ping pong and billiards). The interaction with the owner was also very good. Recommended.

The house is super well equipped and cared for. All rooms (the 8) have a toilet. Luisa is super nice and let us check out a little later. The only negative point was the pool being shared with the other house, otherwise everything was perfect :)

Paulos place is even better in real life, the pictures do not do it justice. The view is insane. Extremely friendly and responsive.

To everyone who’s thinking of renting this house; if you’re having doubts, this is the sign to go for it. I’m speaking on behalf of my family and myself. We were a group of 8 who had the lovely opportunity to spend New Year’s Eve in this beautiful space. To start with, pictures don’t do justice to the gem you find when you pass through the entrance door. The house seems like it blends or comes out of the mountain itself. Maintaining original external features of what it seemed an old house that was carefully blended into the newer structure of the main house. When you enter you have the feeling of being at home and from any of the panoramic windows to the west side of the house you get the breathtaking views of the Douro river They’ve thought of all details and making it a perfectly functional house to not have to leave for as long as you plan to stay there. Having the breakfast service is also another extra service we were really happy to have thank you for the lovely experience.

We had an amazing stay at Diogo’s beautiful place. It is even better in real life than it looks on the photos, with great views and supermarkets / restaurants close by. The house is open and bright and perfect for a group of 10-15. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning

The Villa was clean, super spacious and equipped with everything you might need. Just a 2 min walk from the beach, with a bakery and some restaurants also close by. Everything worked out just perfect and we had no complaints and Clara responded to messages relatively quickly. We really enjoyed the Villa and our stay. The only issue was communicating with the person who we had to contact when we needed something once we stayed at the Villa, response to our questions was usually late.

What an EXTRAORDINARY accommodation Casa Marmelo was for our group of 8 adults when visiting the Douro valley !!! Host Kate was super to work -- right from our initial contact for information through our date of departure. What an excellent WELCOME GUIDE she provided before our arrival - with valuable tips and suggestions for activities and dining throughout the area. Housekeeper Helene too could not have been more kind, charming, and helpful. What delicious breakfasts she made for us each morning. The entire property was kept so clean and tidy. What a memorable time we all had -- we all hope to be back!

Beautiful location stunning house. Great host. Do the vineyard tour it is great lots of information and gorgeous wine! Hard to leave the house for day trips as it is so tempting to stay in! Local people are friendly and helpful. Thank you for an amazing week we will be back for sure!!!!

Very nice house. Lots of space for the three of us and we'll equipped. The pool was available for us even in late October, but of course a bit chill. Enjoyed the stay in a beautiful part of Portugal.

This place is peaceful and surrounded by nature with lots of trees and singing birds, includind the chickens that create an "quinta" atmosphere. The accommodations were clean and cozy, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and caring. I highly recommend this countryside gem for a relaxing escape.
