Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage, set within 5 acres of woodlands leading directly to private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends and families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. A luxurious hot tub (perfect after a hard days hike) and an outdoor wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower are available at an extra cost. Art classes & tuck shop also available.

Apple House - an exquisite bohemian retreat

Apple House is a quiet retreat, a place where you can completely unwind. Standing in the gardens of Hylands, a fine Arts and Crafts House, to the West of Kendal it is decorated using quality local materials and skills of local crafts people. It has beautiful views to the wildlife garden; pond, kitchen garden and the hills beyond. Apple House is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops, cafes and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub 'The Rifleman's Arms'.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The Garden Studio, Lake District with parking.

We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Patio doors open on to a private sun terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding fields. Parking next to the studio.

Located within the heart of the friendly village of Lindale, which has a local pub. Lindale offers spectacular views over the Levens valley and Howgill fells and is an ideal base for those enjoying walking, mountain biking or simply relaxing. Rock Cottage retains many original features such as flag floors, beams and exposed stone walls. Barnside Cottage is a cosy one bedroom retreat in the hamlet of Viver, with a fanatic view,just 25 minutes from Lake Windermere and close to the Lake District. The M6 is 3 miles away, offering easy access to the market towns of Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale, the Yorkshire Dales, and National Trust sites. Enjoy scenic walks along the nearby canal path or visit Arnside, just 10 minutes away, for coastal views and top-notch fish & chips. A perfect base for exploring the countryside

The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
