We really enjoyed our stay the house was perfect for a family with young children. If you want to be out of the way it's exactly that,20 minutes drive to the nearest amenities 35 minutes to the beach. We had a hire car but if we didn't we would have been a bit stuck. We came out at the end of march and we were pleased we bought wetsuits for the pool. That's not a reflection on the property that's just down to the weather. The poolside was a lovely place to spend an evening where we had a barbecue. The kitchen was well equipped with sharp knives which is always a bonus. we all had a great time and enjoyed staying in the house. We have recommend it to friends.

We have stayed here previously and know the location well, which is peaceful with wonderful views. In easy reach of nearby villages & towns and 2 lovely beaches which are within walking distance. The villa is well presented and really well equipped. There is lots of space to relax and enjoy the pool. We didn’t have the pool heated but is was warm enough especially if the pool cover is used (loved that this was an electric one!)

A home right on a picturesque beach, equipped with everything we needed. The morning and evening walks with our dogs were spectacular - sunrises and sunsets over the ocean. The communication with the hosts was very good. When there was a minor glitch in the kitchen, the hosts sent a plumber the next day. They were very helpful. Hope to come back someday. Algarva beaches are addictive 🫠

Our stay at Ana's place was very comfortable and far exceeded our expectations. The place is immaculate, cozy, very comfortable, private yet within walking distance to the center of the old town, and to the "Intermarche" supermarket. It is the best place we have ever stayed at, and we will definitely return there, on our next trip. Ana is a Super Host, more a "Super Woman", was very helpful, very friendly and no matter what time of the day or late at night, she would respond and assist. Our stay at the Quinta da Ameijeira was memorable, thanks to our lovely host. Highly recommended..

Had a great stay here. Very nice apartment where you immediately feel at home. Wonderful to have breakfast on the roof terrace and enjoy the beautiful view. Nice bed and nice shower. 5-10 minutes walk and you are already downtown. I would rather use a filter coffee maker than a machine with cups, but that's personal. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time in Casa dos Arcos. The house and the garden had everything we needed. We stayed for three months (Jan - Apr) and it was the perfect place to spend this period. There were some challenges concerning the humidity (it was the rainiest season in 20 years) but Nicolas provided immediate solutions and kept thinking along with us. Our three boys (8, 6 and 3) go to a school only 7 minutes away, so this house was at a perfect location, with quite surroundings and a stunning view that we enjoyed every day. We really hope to come back here. Thank you for everything!

We were able to discover a great place to stay and were very pleasantly surprised by it. At every point you can see that the hosts put a lot of effort into stylishly and creatively expanding and furnishing the old buildings. The location is good for reaching Faro or for excursions in the surrounding area. Everything necessary was available in the apartment. Joao responded immediately when additional things were requested (blanket or umbrella). The rooftop terrace was lovely for breakfast or to end the day. Great view and a nice place to relax. The property with its various accommodations is definitely recommended.

We booked Colette’s house for us and my in-laws. The place was pristine, perfect for 4 people with just the right amount of privacy for 4 adults! We loved the location: quiet and so close to the beach and restaurants. The terrace and courtyard are very nice as well. When we checked in, the wifi wasn’t working. Colette ensured that a technician got there the very next day and when he couldn’t fix the problem, she came by herself with a sim-card based solution! Luckily, we only needed the Internet and no TV! So it worked beautifully. The sun umbrella on the terrace blew into a neighbor’s garden during a particularly windy day, despite being not open. It wasn’t fasted to the concrete base. That is the only thing that we would say needs to change, given it is close to the beach. The kitchen has everything you would need for a quick dinner, the bathrooms are super clean and the beds very comfortable. We warmly recommend!
