From the moment we arrived at CozyInConlig, we knew we had found something special. As a family of four—with two lively kids and two equally energetic dogs—finding the perfect getaway that ticks everyone's boxes can be a challenge. But this charming retreat delivered in every possible way. The house itself is picture-perfect—warm, beautifully decorated, and brimming with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Beautifully maintained old Portaferry terrace. The view from the front door takes some beating, just walking out the door made you smile. The bedrooms are spacious, with very comfortable mattresses. Good kitchen, back sitting room was a great space to relax and talk after a days walking. Whilst being on the road, the thickness of the walls makes the house silent and peaceful. The property is on the sea front and a short walk to bars, shops and restaurants in the village. A short ride on the ferry takes you into the beautiful village of Strangford and for us a lovely meal in the Artisan Cookhouse (strongly recommend). Michael was a great host, directions and details were spot on. The property was a lovely find and I would thoroughly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing get away in a beautiful part of the country.

My sister, mum and I spent 2 nights at Woodquarter lodge with children. The house was lovely and had all we needed. We enjoyed making use of the hot tub in the evening. Noelle was a very responsive host and she left clear instructions. The food basket was a lovely touch! We enjoyed our break away and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The cottage is a beautiful place set in very private and peaceful surroundings. It is kept very clean and is decorated in a modetn but homely way. The HotTub was such a bonus after a long day keeping the kids busy! CLOUGHEY playpark and beach is only minutes away. Highly recommend!

Stayed here with my 2 teenage daughters for a nice relaxing chilled night and that’s exactly what we all got. We all loved chilling in the amazing hot tub looking out over the fields super relaxing and a great mind reset from a busy week working. Paula was very helpful and a very accommodating host.
