House vacation rentals in Ardington

The most amazing weekend in the most beautiful house! We loved every second of our weekend. So much to do including the swimming pool, games room, tennis courts and lovely walks. Spotlessly clean throughout. We can't recommend this house enough. Stunning property. Anne was so lovely and let us arrive a little earlier to put food in the fridge on a very hot day. She also extended our checkout time which gave us extra time in the lovely grounds. We are already planning a return trip. Thank you Anne. Wonderful weekend.

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

We stayed here to celebrate my Dad’s 70th birthday as a family. The house is absolutely beautiful, it’s very clean and the interior suits the surroundings perfectly. The view of the water is stunning and so lovely to look at first thing in the morning! I would highly recommend. There’s also lots to do on site which is real bonus. We walked to the local pub, the Bakers Arms which we’d highly recommend for a short but pleasant walk. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A beautiful barn conversion in lovely grounds with lots of facilities, with thoughtful and helpful hosts. It was a fabulous long weekend and we didn’t need to leave the grounds to be entertained throughout, from in the pool to playing pool, it was all we could ask for.

Beautiful home! Absolutely loved staying here. The grounds were so gorgeous and the property was 5 star hotel standard. It’s not often that you stay somewhere that the beds are comfier than your own and these were. They had thought of every little detail. Couldn’t recommend more.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was in a idyllic, peaceful location. There was lots of country walks neaby. Chantal and William were really helpful with all the check-in information. The cottage itself was immaculate, cozy and warm. It exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend this place if you're after a nice quiet retreat. I also recommend the local village pub for a nice friendly pint.

Wow what a beautiful place! We booked this for a special wedding anniversary to celebrate with our close family. The gift of a bottle of wine and a cake was such a lovely touch. Thank you so much. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mayflower. The young children loved seeing the ducks and wildlife come right up to the deck, and the adults loved the hot tub. The robes were a lovely touch too. We had no problem finding the Mayflower and the instructions for checking in and the online guidebook were very useful. There is so much to do on the doorstep if you can drag yourself away from the lodge. It was such a peaceful and magical place and somewhere I would love to return to.

Had a lovely weekend with friends at the cottage, which was spacious, spotless and has everything we needed. Francesca was super responsive to questions both in the lead up to our stay and while we were there, and we’d recommend the cottage to families or groups of friends who are looking for a quiet few days away in a convenient and beautiful locations. Even the rain didn’t stop plans!

We thoroughly recommend The Little Forge for a stay in the Cotswolds - it was so pretty, peaceful and the hot tub was a bonus! We stayed here for our mini moon after our wedding for a bit of rest and relaxation and got just that! Kelly gave us super clear instructions of where to park and how to get in - all really easy. The cottage itself is really pretty, has all the home comforts you could possibly need as well as being in walking distance to a great pub with delicious food and really good service. It was peaceful and relaxing - Kelly had thought of all amenities you might need during your stay - it felt like a home away from home. The cottage is a great base to explore lots of the Cotswolds - we enjoyed Stow-on-the-Wold, walk no. 4 in the "40 walks in the Cotswolds" book, Cowley Manor Experimental for an afternoon spa trip and The Feathered Nest. We loved our stay - would love to come again some time! Thank you!

This was a work trip so the area and house suited our needs.

Fabulous location for walking the Ridgeway. It was very comfy and cosy, especially after a wet day walking. Everything dried really quickly. We had a great 2 nights there and found it difficult to leave.

Mark was an excellent host. He was proactive in regard to accessing the property and asked well ahead of time about our preferences in relation to food items he provided. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils and provisions ( one of the best 'welcome packs' we have had - milk, wine, grapes, bread, cheese, tomatoes, jam ). And lovely to have an induction cooktop. There was an ample supply of maps, brochures and books about the local area and the wider Cotswolds. The dining table looked out over a lovely back garden. A comfortable bed in a good sized bedroom. All in all a very comfortable stay and a great host. The home is in the 'suburbs' of Winchcombe making it easy to access with a car from all directions and it is only a 10-15 minute walk into town. But it is in a modern estate, not classic old Cotswolds stone if that is important.

Another fab stay at your beautiful cottage Susan. Thank you for the wine. We managed to take advantage of the outside space and enjoyed an evening drink in the sun there. Love all the planting, must admit I couldn’t resist removing a side shoot from the tomatoes ( am a keen gardener myself so just can’t help myself!!) Perfect location for local travel. We visited Kelmscott Manor, somewhere I always wanted to visit when I lived locally but never got round to. All in all a little gem of a cottage.

From start to finish, this beautiful property exceeded every expectation. Phoebe was incredibly responsive, helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything a guest could need - from quality linens and toiletries to a well-equipped modern kitchen. The location was ideal - peaceful yet convenient to local attractions. Every detail showed a commitment to comfort and hospitality. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with the service and polish of a five-star hotel in the most stunning location and surroundings. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something a cut above the usual. We would absolutely return without any hesitation. Helen and Steve are the most wonderful hosts and people. The annex is homely and has the best energy. Their gardens are stunning and good for the soul. I would highly recommend this home and the hosts. Both are the best!

Chandré's place was perfect for our needs as 4 adults and 3 infants. At least 2 of the rooms are big enough for travel cots, possibly 3. The rooms are bigger than the pictures make them appear. Everything was spotlessly clean, the road was lovely and quiet. Chandré checked in on us via the airbnb app during our stay. There are some fun things to do for kids nearby - we went to Milletts Farm and the soft play was great. Parking was no issue and we had 4 cars with us. We would definitely return if we are visiting the area again!

**A Perfect Stay in the Cotswolds** We had such a wonderful stay at this beautifully presented cottage in the Cotswolds. Immaculate throughout and tastefully decorated, the space felt both cosy and luxurious. A thoughtful touch on arrival was the fresh bread and cake, so welcoming after a journey. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. Deborah, the housekeeper, was fantastic – very responsive and helpful, with clear, timely communication. The location was another highlight – peaceful yet perfectly positioned, with Soho Farmhouse a pleasant walk away. We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing get away!

This cottage in Bibury was amazing. It was decorated and had a feel of an English cottage. The stairway and rope railings made it feel like something out of a picture book. If you want a memorable experience of the Cotswold’s this is the place to stay. It was very cozy for a family of 5. It will definitely be a stay we will always remember.

Really lovely cottage with everything we needed for our long weekend in the Cotswolds. The beds were all really comfortable and the kitchen had all we wanted for a full cooked breakfast every day. The pub next door is lovely with a good food menu. There are plenty of walks available and other villages are also close by We would certainly stay again if we visit the area. They had a lovely looking fireplace which would be great in the colder months
