Places to stay in Appomattox

Our stay with Steve and Debbie was absolutely amazing! Their home was charming, spacious, and perfect for our girls' trip of four. We had more than enough room to relax and unwind, and there was plenty of parking, which made everything so easy. One of our favorite parts was sitting outside on the lawn chairs, soaking in the beautiful scenery — it was so peaceful and refreshing. Lots of great spots to head to all 30min and under. Pippin Hill was only 10min away! Everything about the stay was wonderful, with no complaints at all. We are already talking about when we can come back. Thank you, Steve and Debbie, for such a memorable and relaxing getaway! --- Would you like one that's a little even more bubbly too, just in case?

This was the best Arb&b I have ever stayed at. It was very clean and the host went above and beyond with amenities. Very nice neighborhood to walk and peaceful. Amanda was very responsive when I asked information. I would highly recommend her place.

It was just a quick overnight stop for me, but wished I could have stayed longer! Best night's sleep I had in a long time. Peter has all of the comforts needed for a home away from home. It is eight off tbe highway, but secluded for some peace and quiet

Amazing place to stay all the way around especially for skiing! Walk right to the slopes and restaurants! The condo was super clean and cozy and great if you want to cook your own meals as it’s fully stocked with everything you need. The host was very kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. My boyfriend and I loved staying here and would definitely book again!

This spot was very convenient for our weekend plans: contra dance in Greenwood, hiking the Afton tunnel, and visiting the Tom-Tom festival in Charlottesville. The Nook was a great space for our weekend. We enjoyed watching hawks hovering and diving close by from the grass behind The Nook. The Blue Mountain Brewery is right nearby and had great food, music, and a lot of people! The driveway into the place is a private right-of-way and you are not allowed to walk it--just drive on it. It's also narrow and hard to turn into at night, but we had no problems. I think there were other guests in the other properties--we occasionally saw cars but didn't see other people really. It was nice and private.

This condo was perfect for our weekend getaway! Newly renovated, comfortable furniture and amazing views. Host was a pleasure to work with!

We loved our stay!! I hosted my Team Retreat here and it was absolutely beautiful!! The light, the decor, the amazing bathtub -- we had a great, relaxing time!! Plenty of seating in the kitchen and living room area, and we loved having the second sitting area in the upstairs unit. It's also not far from downtown Lexington so we could enjoy a day out & plenty of restaurant options!! HIGHLY recommend!!

Our family enjoyed our too short of a stay over the thanksgiving holiday! This beautiful home provided all the essentials and space we needed to have a beautiful Thanksgiving feast to enjoy with family! The 2 ovens came in handy to heat our meal. We also had a short drive to enjoy hiking at the Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Would be a beautiful place to stay and visit in the warmer months as well.

Great location, easy to find, perfect for our visit to Liberty University.
