Located in the downtown area of historic Appomattox Virginia - Walking Distance to downtown Across the street from Liberty Baptist Church and easy access to many historical sites. The Carriage House is a new addition in 2005 and offers a separte living quarters from the main BNB. Great for families and pet friendly! One bedroom, basement apartment in well kept house. The apartment is furnished with antiques and set on the corner of a farm with good views. The apartment has a private entrance and parking just outside the door. We are a retired but active couple who live upstairs. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and is stocked with coffee, tea, coffee fixings, snacks, and light breakfast items. We are 25 minutes to downtown Lynchburg and 20 minutes to Appomattox.

Fiber optic internet is provided; cell service is limited. (We recommend wi-fi calling.) Guests will enjoy walking the property, following Spring Creek, and exploring the remains of an old, hand-built stone dam in the woods. Birdwatchers will find an abundance of species.
