Monthly Rentals in Apple Bay

This cozy cottage is incredible! Everything about it, simple and sweet. The outside deck area is lovely and a to die for view. Up and down the coast, watch surfers off Sebastian's beach, incredible sunsets over Jost Van Dyke, room for relaxing, dining and space for yoga/exercising. Val and Christian super helpful and friendly. We have no complaints! Will be back! For excursions: walk to Sebastians beach club, rough surf but beautiful, decent food, great drinks, 10 min. to beautiful Smugglers Cove (check out Nigel's (Patricia's ok but we liked Nigel's better) for excellent food, cocktails, chairs, umbrellas; Nature Boy Beach Bar & Beach, might have it all to yourself; 15 min. to Cane Garden Bay, stop at Shell Man stand on Carrot Bay. At Cane Garden, we liked Glen's Seafood Beach Bar & Indigo for lunch/dinner inside sweet Mediterranean-style restaurant on the beach, Da Wedding fun DJ and bar. D'CoalPot for lunch/dinner (Carrot Bay), breakfast @ Omar's (West End, next to Pussers)

Perfect base camp with everything needed for exploring Tortola and surrounding islands! It is close to some of the best beaches on the island, easy to catch the ferry to Jost Van Dyke, and close to Omar’s and Pussars on the West side for dinner. Sophie and her husband were so friendly and helpful with local recommendations. As others mentioned, renting a 4WD is needed for the driveway, but also will be needed for exploring some of the beaches/steeper roads on island. Would highly recommended!

Absolutely loved my stay at this Airbnb on Tortola! The unit was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly equipped with everything I needed, from a full kitchen to cozy outdoor seating. I left the doors open while I was there to take advantage of the lovely breeze. And while the unit has air conditioning O didn’t turn it on until I went to bed. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and full of local tips that made my trip extra special. Whether you’re looking to relax or adventure, this place is a perfect home base while you’re on Tortola.

Sophie’s Place is a slice of absolute paradise! We stayed for two weeks with a 4 day jaunt to JvD for a weeding. It’s located on a quiet and almost private bay called Long Bay. It was a quick 20 min ride to the main grocery with a smaller grocer, with a load of options in Sopers Hole, just a few minutes away. If you’re a gym buff I do rec getting the Long Bay gym pass for an unlimited month. Definitely worth it. The spa was lovely also. The best part, both are just a few steps from your door. We cooked quite a bit and had everything we needed for delicious healthy meals. I do rec brining an eye mask as the sun rises early and the bedroom becomes bright quickly, if you’d like to sleep past 6:30. Using the beach equipment across the street was an added bonus - they have surf boards and SUP, beach loungers and umbrella/shades. I would get a rental car if able. Take the ferries to surrounding islands for day trips! Anegada is a must! Virgin Gorda for the Baths. JvD for Bubbly Pool & Foxys
