Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Aphrodite Hills

Der er intet dårligt at sige om Elena eller hendes hus. Huset er præcis som billederne viser - super hyggeligt, lækker pool og meget rent. Elena er nem at kommunikerer med og svarer hurtigt. Selve området, synes vi var ret kedeligt. Der er fine restauranter og alle meget tæt på huset, men udover det er der intet at se eller lave i byen. To små købmænd/turistbutikker er alt hvad der er.

Very nice big house in a traditional village. The accomodation is well equipped, you find all what you need for a comfortable stay. Many tools in the kitchen and vintage furnitures in the other rooms, all of them very clean. One bedroom with bathroom is just outdoor the main entrance, facing the nice courtyard. About the location, it is ca. 10 km from the highway, the road leading up the hill with some curves. Very quite area, parking just behind the house. Christos was very kind, his guide is useful to explore Cyprus. We visited the place in february, some restaurants/cafes were closed, but in the spring/summer months you will have more options. Recommended if you are looking for a relaxing place in the countryside of the island.

What a great host. Bodil was very responsive to all our requests and was proactive in helping us make the best of our time in Pissouri. She really is a Super host. The house is comfortable and well equipped, especially the kitchen. The balcony has great views over the sea, and an electric awning which is easy to put up and down. It is around a 10 minute walk to the village square which has a good little supermarket (there is a bigger one a few minutes drive away) and good tavernas with nice food. We had the use of her ancient SUV - it runs really well and has four wheel drive, useful for some of the steep gravelly roads in the village. A pleasure all round.

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Cyprus. The location was perfect, and the view from the patio was absolutely stunning, one of those places where you genuinely enjoy just sitting and soaking it all in. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the hospitality. Koula, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and comfortable, she was kind, attentive, and truly made the stay feel special. The neighbors were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added such a nice, local touch to the trip. We had some genuinely great interactions with them. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d absolutely recommend this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We holiday in Protaras but always like to spend a couple of nights in a traditional Cypriot village and home. Kathakis is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful little village which has everything you need to relax. We chose Calliope House because of its authentic Cypriot feel and we weren't disappointed. It's been in the owners family for generations and is a beautiful Cypriot home which had everything you need. The stand outs for us was that it had 3 bedrooms (one en-suite) the other 2 bedrooms a toys the beautiful courtyard with their own bathroom and a guest bathroom. The courtyard was beautiful. Private and peaceful with comfortable sofa seating as well as a table and chairs for food and drinks. The house was immaculate! Bedding in particular was pristine l, crisp white sheets and quilt. Beds were so comfortable, plenty of towels, and the showers were great. Waling distance to main square with taverns, a museum and about a mile away a wonderful winery which offered wine tasting sessions.

Die Sonnenuntergänge von der Terrasse aus beobachten können, das hatten wir lange nicht. Die Betten waren sehr gut, sobald die Hotels in der Umgebung die Urlauberbespaßung abends eingestellt hatten, schliefen wir in absoluter Ruhe bei offenem Fenster.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehmen die Lage ist sehr schön. Vicki war schnell erreichbar bei Fragen. Nur zu empfehlen. Der Ort ist grundsätzlich ruhiger.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Finca – die Anlage ist top gepflegt, sehr sauber und bietet viele Annehmlichkeiten: ein schöner Pool, gut ausgestattete Küche, Grillmöglichkeiten (Gas und Kohle) und einige liebevolle Details zur Begrüßung. Der Außenbereich lädt zum Entspannen ein und insgesamt haben wir uns wirklich wohlgefühlt. In der Umgebung hört man gelegentlich typische Geräusche des Landlebens – das gehört hier einfach dazu und sollte bei der Planung bedacht werden. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt – wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen!

Lovely apartment in a peaceful location. We have stayed in Tala before so knew the area but we still appreciated the location of this apartment and how it stood out from others whilst providing everything you could wish for. We will be back!!

We had a lovely stay in the appartment of Jonathan. Very spacious, 2 bathrooms and a lot of room in the living area! The dishwasher was also a very welcome addition to the kitchen! The big and clean pool was great for the kids to enjoy. The private parking underneath the building was also nice. The roof terrace is a big plus. The view of the sunset in the evening was amazing. We would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a place in a quiet area away from the big hotels and in search of a magnificent view over the sea!

Wir waren 7Tage in der Unterkunft. Wir hatten ein Mietwagen und haben damit Zypern erkundet, da das Airbnb in ein Dorf liegt war der Mietwagen sehr wichtig. Die Unterkunft war ordentlich und gepflegt und was uns auch sehr gut gefallen hat, dass wir frühs ein kleines aber reichliches Frühstück serviert bekommen haben. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich.

Great location, very caring host. The appartment isn't brand new, but very good value for money. Well equiped and has a homy feeling. Like AirBnb used to be Kids loved the pool. The pictures of the view are certainly apt. It is situated close to the harbour, in between two beaches. Some very beautiful bays for snorkling that can easily be reached by bus (10 munutes, direction aphrodite or by one if the many boat excursions). Same for hiking routes We did not hire a car and it is certainly doable without. There is is medium sized supermarket nearby and a bus station. Ask Yiannos for a taxi company in case you need

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Charoulla's apartments. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and Charoulla personally showed us around the apartment, making sure we felt at home right away. The apartment was impeccably clean, and we really appreciated the attention to detail throughout. One very pleasant gesture was when Charoulla set up the fireplace for us, adding to the cozy and inviting atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable stay!

Wir waren hier in einem ruhigen typisch zypriotischen Dorf und hatten das Glück über dem Dorfcafe/ Miniladen zu wohnen wo man alles wichtige, besonders einen sehr guten traditionellen Kaffee, bekommt. Wir haben uns immer gefreut wenn Maro Zeit hatte für ein kleines Gespräch. Sie ist eine herzliche und weltoffene Frau die hervorragend Englisch spricht und uns so auch von ihrer Heimat erzählen konnte. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr geräumig, es war sehr sauber und die Küche war mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Anfang April waren die Nächte noch kühl, wir konnten es uns aber vor dem offenen Kamin gemütlich machen. Auch extra Decken sind vorhanden. Wir haben von dort aus Ausflüge zum Strand und in die Berge gemacht (in ca einer halben Stunde erreichbar) Wir wären gerne längervgeblieben!

Beautiful location, quiet and very nice apartment. It had everything we needed for this two days! Only thing that was missing was a veranda.

Great location and the host was very friendly and responsive

We really enjoyed our time at the villa, the surroundings were amazing, we received all instructions, if any questions arose, we had direct line to the owner and they were there within an hour to help. Overall we were very pleased. A few points to consider. Only top 3 bedrooms have mosquito nets on the windows, as the evenings were cool in the beginning of June we much preferred not to have AC in the night, instead had the windows open, so kids who slept downstairs quickly relocated to sleep on the sofas in the living room, which were very comfortable by the way, so no complaints there. Also the last slope leading to the house is so steep its not even funny, we rented a small kia and everyone had to leave the car to actually be able to drive up there, probably wouldn't be a problem for a car with a bigger engine tho, so something to consider. The house itself could use a few updates, but overall we loved it there and would definitely come back.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war ein wunderbares Haus mit toller Küche, Schwimmbad, 3 Schlafzimmern und viel Platz. Die Lage im Ortszentrum hat uns gut gefallen und der Kontakt zu Ephraim war perfekt. Er war bei Fragen immer sofort verfügbar, worüber wir uns nur bedanken können. Und das wichtigste, wir empfehlen es weiter und würden wiederkommen!

A truly peaceful and secluded retreat — exactly what we needed to unwind after some busy work days. The silence is absolute, and the view over the hills, valley, and vineyards is simply stunning. We had a wonderful time here as a family — the place is very comfortable, and the pool was a big highlight for both kids and adults. Great location too, with easy access by car to Polis, Paphos, and the sea. The host was incredibly welcoming and always available if needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tranquility, nature, and quality time with loved ones.

Eine unglaubliche Unterkunft, die meine Erwartungen völlig übertroffen hat. Es gibt einen riesigen Pool, schattige Plätze unter Olivenbäumen, einen Open Air-Barbereich (mit Musik), eine große gemütliche Terrasse mit verschiedenen Grillgelegenheiten; und jeder Platz für sich ist es wert, ein Glas Wein zu genießen. Aber das aller Beeindruckendste ist die gigantische Aussicht! Man sieht auf die umliegenden Dörfer, die Berge und das Meer. Und bei jedem Blick entdeckt man etwas Neues. Die Küche und der Wohnbereich sind riesig, die Schlafzimmer gemütlich. Unser Aufenthalt war perfekt, ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

super unterkunft, perfekt eingerichtet, super küche, super kühlschrank. leider liegt das haus neben einer stark befahrenen straße, und es war lauter als gedacht.
