Manor Lodge, guesthouse nr Peterborough & Stamford

Fantastic accommodation. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending to any discerning couple. Beautifully furnished and decorated, everything high quality, lovely linen, towels, crockery etc. The most comfortable bed, we had a wonderful nights rest. Thoughtful touches, such as the welcome note and recommendations on local walks and eateries were very helpful and we enjoyed a short evening stroll followed by a fantastic meal at a local pub, where the locals were very friendly and welcoming. Wish we could have stayed longer. My hubby was drying some dishes and commented that he considered this to be the best bnb we had stayed in and that everything, including the tea towel, was quality. 😉👍❤️

Tranquil Shepherds Hut

We had such a lovely stay, the area was so cute and well laid out. Bed was comfy and it was very cozy in general. The views were stunning! Lots of nature and very tranquil. Really well stocked with equipment we required. All round, a fabulous find. Only issue was the hot water running out a bit quick. Otherwise, I would recommend for anyone who wants a peaceful get-away :)

Thank you Olivia and family for an amazing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful property. Duddington is a beautiful village and all the locals were very friendly and welcoming. Your property had everything we needed and the additional extras like the teabags and coffee pods were great. We only needed to bring our food and toiletries everything else was provided. If we are ever looking for somewhere to stay in the area we would definitely book this property again.

The Old Bookshop

ClaireRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay here. So quiet and relaxing yet very close to the picturesque high street and lovely bars restaurants shops of Uppingham. Had lovely local produce from a wind bakery, butchers across the road, and all you need in the apartment to self cater. Restaurants and bars also did wonderful food. Very clean and stylish decor aparntment. Trips wise, we had a wonderful day with electric bikes hired to cycle round Rutland Water with a beach and lots of lambs, forest, and watching the bird life and sail boats / fishing. Another nice place was the blue ball in Braunston thatched cottage pub with delicious food and holly field walks around. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
A charming courtyard is framed by stone buildings adorned with greenery. Natural sunlight bathes the area, highlighting the intricately patterned stone paving. Flowering plants are positioned in pots, and a white door invites entry. The serene environment promotes a peaceful atmosphere.

Spacious & stylish hayloft with hot tub

EmmaRating, 5 stars12 months ago
The Hayloft is the most stunning place to stay! Homely, spacious, and has everything you need for a lovely trip, including lots of cooking equipment. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub and other outside spaces, made all the better by their cute dogs. Geoff, Sarah and their friend Maxine were amazing hosts — they obviously take great pride in hosting people, and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Geoff's homemade coffee ice cream is delicious! The church is right across the road so you might want to bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the church bells, however we didn't get disturbed by them. We actually slept incredibly well in their comfy bed! The surrounding area is also lovely to explore — we'd recommend a local walk along Kings Cliffs railway path, and a trip to the Finch's Arms pub and Rutland water in general. We hope to come back soon!
An entryway with a tiled floor features a light-colored console table. A round mirror accents the wall, complemented by nautical decor. Natural light fills the space, highlighting a view through glass doors that open to a garden. A simple bench and a blue chair are positioned nearby.
