Good location. 3 minutes walk to MTR station. Good restaurant and convenient store nearby.

Really nice and clean place. Host was very responsive and had clear instructions. The location was very close to multiple bus stops which was very convenient. Overall, was very pleased with the accommodations.

Nice house, reasonable amount of space. We were seven and it worked well for us, if a little bit tight. It isn't a problem if you, like us, are only in the house to sleep and shower. It is a fair walk to ikebukoro station, but it's not bad. The host was nice, we didn't need much from them but we got a good impression.

A perfect Tokyo Central-East home! For two couples this was a fabulous, spacious, modern, well appointed house with easy acess to Asakusa, Ginza, Shinjuku, Ueno and the Keisei Skyliner for transport to/from Narita. We chose to taxi from the house to Nippori Station to catch the Skyliner, cost was 1200 JPY, very easy with the Go taxi app. You can grab a hot can of coffee at the Mini Stop (2min walk), the Family Marts at Iriya metro station (6min) or for that Showa period vibe check out Only Cafe (12min). Inageya Iriya Supermarket had everything we needed for meals, snacks and drinks. Our host Kyo-ya san was flexible and friendly, couldn’t ask for anything better, domo arigato gozaimasu :) This was the last of six AirBnB’s we stayed at during our Japan travel, and it was such a comfortable, quiet, and all round pleasant space to be in as we wound down to head home. 100 percent would stay again, great location and value for money.

We were very impressed with how clean the house was. We stayed with a family of 5 and found that there was more than enough space. The location is close to the station which made it easy to travel from and to the airport as well as anywhere we wanted to visit. The best thing about our stay was how helpful the host was. They were very responsive and answered any questions we had as this was our first time visiting Japan. 100% recommend and we would definitely rebook if we were to visit again.

For Tokyo this place was very roomy for 4 adults. Rooms were clean and comfortable especially the tatami room. The main living space was also very large for Tokyo. It’s in a quiet neighborhood in Ikebukuro and local train station was a 10min walk. Major Ikebukuro station is about a 15min walk and is very busy with lots of malls, shops and eating choices. Familymart is literally around the corner for morning breakfast and coffee. Bigger Familymart is about a 5 min walk. I was a little concerned about location but seriously was not an issue given the proximity of stations. 6min train ride to Shinjuku from Ikebukuro station.

The place is clean, private and near the train station and other public transport. Host was responsive and provided clear directions. Felt like home. Near the shops and restaurants.

This Airbnb was amazing. Location was very convenient and the place was very clean and spacious and had a lot of very nice amenities. The surrounding neighborhood was very nice and quiet as well.

Very nice Villa. We got unlucky with weather but it was a really enjoyable stay. Would recommend to small families or groups of 5 or less.

We LOVED our stay at Asami's house. There are many walkable restaurants and access to the train is fantastically easy. The home fit our family's needs perfectly, with room for our teens upstairs and comfortable bedrooms downstairs, too. The kitchen/living level was an excellent place to gather after a long day of exploring and we felt right at home. Everything was as listed and the user handbook was very helpful, too. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very close to lots of great restaurants and easy access to the subway. It is down a side street that is generally very quiet in the evenings but you only need to walk a couple of minutes to get into much livelier parts of the city. The place itself had everything we needed, would recommend.

The apartment is immaculate, with great kitchen and cooking facilities, a lovely spacious lounge area with small balcony, multiple toilets and a great bathroom spaces. The stairs and corridors are a little small though. The location is excellent, with 3 nearby train stations within 5-15min walk to take you around Tokyo. There are some great restaurants nearby - we enjoyed Harumi. Thanks Jennie for being responsive to all of our questions and being a great host! Would definitely stay here again if we're back in Tokyo!

Great home in a lovely, friendly neighborhood. The beds were a little uncomfortable but putting an extra comforter on top of the mattress helped. It has great amenities.

Host has been very co-operative & friendly, timely response always. Loved the house which was very neat & clean as anticilayed. First Yoshiya was amazing to deal with. Very kind and responsive. She had great advice and was beyond kind, friendly, and helpful. The house itself is very comfortable and great for families. Very clean and well appointed. The location was perfect for us. While outside of the center of Tokyo, there are tons of restaurants, bars, shops, and subway is only about a 6 min walk. The actual street the house is on is very quiet with no thru traffic. And the surrounding streets are full of amenities. If you want less touristy experience but still want convenience at your fingertips this place is ideal. For me, there were no obvious drawbacks. It can take 30-55mins to get to the tourist hotspots, depending on the time of day, but was very easy and I preferred the Kameari area. It was fun with more options for restaurants and shops than I could keep track of. Next time I am in Tokyo I will definitely be staying here again.
