Family-friendly vacation rentals in Antrim County

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo on the Boyne Mountain Resort campus! It's in the Creekside section of the resort, so it's a ~20min walk from the "village" within the resort (where the lodge is and most of the restaurants are) or a super quick 5-min drive. As an Airbnb guest, there is a $20+ daily fee if you want to access the gym and pools. The condo itself is very nice and exactly as pictured. It's a 1st floor unit with lovely views of the valley out the window. The indoor/outdoor fireplace and hot tub are amazing perks of this space! Being on the 1st floor, you are subject to the noise of whomever is above you, and we did hear a bit of stomping around, but nothing that really bothered us. The guest bedroom (with 2 beds) is quite dark and the only window is a window well (i.e. you can't see outside), which was not ideal, but overall this is a lovely spot and we would come back to stay again. The hosts were very responsive!

Ive rented alot of air bnbs over the years. So far? This has been the best experience ive had. The house was amazing. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Super well stocked with amenities that most places dont provide. Jennifer is super easy to communicate with and get ahold of. We will be back next year:)

Absolutely loved the location of this rental! It was like a 3 minute walk over to the yellow chair. So, so easy! The condo is also fully stocked with anything you might need for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is decorated super cute, was clean and very accommodating. We would stay here again for another ski trip.

This location was perfect for our winter get away. Check in was easy, the house was clean and ready for us to enjoy time with our family. We were a group of 8 people, four adults and four children. there was space for all of us to spread out and enjoy time inside as well as outdoors. Beds were extremely comfortable! The cabin was located close to many activities such as shopping in Gaylord and snowtubing at Boyne Mountain. Andreia was helpful in providing suggestions for things to do. our group enjoyed using the club house pool as well. overall our stay was perfect. I would absolutely book this same cabin again for another family vacation.

Connie's place is a lovely space for 1-2 people. Plenty of room to get around the condo and everything was up to date. The decor was very lovely providing a sense of peace and calm. I enjoyed the nature surroundings as well. Thank you Connie.

Everything was great! We had an amazing time and this place met everyone’s needs!

The place had lots of sleeping space! My only recommendation would be to have a snow shovel accessible as we got a lot of snow before we arrived

We had a wonderful stay and it was perfect for our group outing. Everyone was comfortable and the space had everything we needed. We liked that both kitchens were well stocked with cooking and kitchen ware as well as storage space for all our needs. Almost every room having their own bathroom was very nice, and the building layout and bedroom number allowed our group have plenty of their own space. The common areas were cozy and big enough for all of us to congregate and share meals together. It was truly a great perk to have the shuttle service and resort spa available to us. The location is convenient to downtown Boyne and Gaylord for quick trips and the house itself was in a picturesque and peaceful area. We would absolutely love coming again and would plan to stay longer so we could take advantage of more activities next time.

We took a short weekend trip north with our dog to enjoy the peak fall colors. Our stay at Bill's was great, and we appreciated it being pet friendly! His place was as described, very peaceful location with his horses and chickens as well as lots of visits from local wildlife. Bill was very accommodating and gave us lots of recommendations on things to do. His barn is very cool! There were nice trails within a short walking distance, just behind his property, and he's also only a few minutes outside of town. Short's Brewery is right in town. We did some day hikes around the area and around Old Mission Bay along the water as well. This would be a fun spot to return to . Thanks again Bill!

Wow! if I could turn my car around and go right back to Miriah's place, I would do it in a heartbeat! We took our 3 kids for a quick Fall Break trip to Elk Rapids and we all fell in love with Miriah's place and this amazing little town. The house is a perfect layout for families, with lots of common spaces to hang out together AND enough sitting nooks for people to find quiet places to read and relax too. The kitchen has got to be the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I've ever been to. Next time, I'll plan to cook more because now I know Miriah's house literally has EVERYTHING you might need to cook and serve a big group. The house was spotlessly clean, the furniture was super comfy and we slept super well. We loved walking to the beach, playing at the playground, watching people catch fish by the dam, walking to the shops in town, and enjoying the incredible views. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. Thanks for a great stay!

This house was exactly what we were looking for. Directly on the lake with an area for our kids to play, a dock to enjoy and an awesome porch and outdoor firepit. The house was very clean and had all cookware and basic items we needed. Great place for fun with the family or just go relax and unwind.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. Meighan was very communicative and proactive regarding any issues, questions or needs. The place was clean, cute and had everything we needed during our stay. We would definitely stay again!

A peaceful, cozy cabin nestled in the trees that’s a 5-10 minute walk from a lovely, private beach. Our 5yo loved biking to the beach and kayaking and swimming in the shallow water. Great access to nearby lakes and restaurants. The property has a rich family history and it was a privilege to get to stay for a few days. Lynn was the most responsive, friendly host. Highly recommend!

Great place to unwind and relax! Ellsworth Lake is such a beautiful spot and holds many memories for our family.

Various family members were on this trip (teenagers up to grandparents, 7 total), and this house was a perfect set up for us. Bedrooms were spacious, and with one bathroom on the main level and one on the second, plenty of space. The attic level bedroom was great for our teenage boys, with access via steps that are almost like a ladder (just an FYI as it would be tough to climb if not nimble). Nice porches to sit on and enjoy the lake as well as an easily accessible dock for launching a boat or kayak (note lake is not a swimming lake). Great location to Torch Lake, Bellaire, Elk Rapid and other attractions as well. kitchen was very well stocked. Would definitely stay again.

Everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided. Way beyond many places. Stocked kitchen and bathroom. Property is on be of a kind. Elk Lake is a treasure. Enjoy.

This was an amazing stay at a great location, 2 minutes from the bunny hill. Lots of amenities were offered, plenty of space for our group. The condo walls are thick - you can't hear any of the other tenants at all. Great stay offered by a very responsive and helpful host. Thank you Matt!

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

Tressia was a great host who was quick to communicate, proactive and helpful. When the cleaning was completed she reached out immediately to let us check in early. We were also allowed to have a later check out since the availability worked out. The residence was larger than expected and comfortably accommodated our group of 7. We easily could have had more people. The residence was clean and had all the amenities we needed to make meals. The beds were comfortable and warm. The decor is a 90s feel and could be updated but matches the charm of Northern Michigan. The condo above can be noisy with hearing footsteps so light sleepers beware or plan to sleep on the ground floor instead. Otherwise it was a fantastic experience and the location right on the slopes was the best I've had in skiing in Michigan. We would stay again!

We had three generations staying and the size of the place and ability to spread out made it very comfortable for all to have their own spaces, especially the kids. The kitchen/dining allows for prepping/cooking/eating with space to spare. The view on the course is lovely and the deck and fire pit are a great way to take it in. We took advantage of the indoor & outdoor pool as well as the private beach on Lake Bellaire. Golfed the Summit, hit at the range and played kickball golf! I recommend Torch Lake Pontoon for a day trip on that beautiful lake. So much available in the resort and surrounding area to do - a great place for a family vacation.

We just got back from a short 2 night stay at this beautiful home. These homeowners have literally thought of everything you could need. From luggage racks in each room, to bath mats in the tub, to scissors, plastic bags, pots/pans in the FULL kitchen. Aside from that, the home is absolutely immaculate which was super important to me. We had 6 adults and there was so much room, everyone slept comfortably. The beautiful deck was one of my favorite features, perfect for eating outside-overlooking the golf course. It was very private and peaceful. Another favorite of mine was the bonfire pit. There is a large screen tv in the furnished basement which is perfect for a movie night. We took advantage of the private beach access which is a mile or so down the road- a little difficult to find but a wonderful amenity to have for a sunny day. Th small downtown area inn bellaire is also very close, we went one night for dinner at Shorts Brewing, delicious! Colleen was so accommodating and welcoming, I look forward to going back someday. Had a wonderful stay here with my family. The place was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Centrally located to everything. Highly recommend. Would definitely go back.

Everything was great. We were in town for a wedding. We were five minutes from the wedding venue and close to where other family members were staying. The condo was clean. Everyone had their own bathroom! It was a great place to relax and unwind. Restaurants were very close. I think the farthest we drove was 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend staying at Lorri’s condo. 🙂

Linda’s condo in Bellaire was beautiful. I loved how homey it was and had a cabin feel. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and she had lots of amenities available to use. The deck outside was so nice and private, and I loved looking out at the pretty golf course. She had a wide range of books available for reading too, which I appreciated. My family had a great time and really enjoyed her place!
