Cottage vacation rentals in Antigonish

Lovely home -- feel very lucky to have been able to stay here for a few nights because they often are fully booked over the summer. A large and beautiful home with a lovely sunroom + romantic pier a bit further downhill from the home, as well as so many different outdoor nooks. The hosts provide very clear instructions for things like kayaks, hot tub, and the inside fireplace. The hot tub definitely takes some time to get going (would recommend giving it 6-8 hours), but there was lots of kindling and logs to support us figuring it out. Would 100% recommend bring mosquito spray to make the outdoor experience more pleasant. Kitchen is bountiful with kitchen tools (pots, pans, knives, cutlery) to make cooking such a pleasant experience. If you kayak across the lake, there are also some hiking trails!!!

Kirk and Kelley were very welcoming and lovely. The cottage was easy to locate and had some stunning views of the mountains and the lake. Thank you for hosting us and would indeed return for another get away in the future.

My family and I had a great time at Amber’s place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, clean place to stay while visiting Inverness.

Beautiful location and beautiful cottage. Pristine condition and everything a person needs to settle in. We came prepared with our own items but they have provided many things. It is set up to have an experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Get some lobster and relax!

Lisa & Jared were fabulous hosts! Their place far exceeded our expectations. The cottage was clean and comfy. Had all of the creature comforts we could ask for. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck while our dog ran the fenced in yard. Sunrises, sunsets, tides, beach walks and relaxing afternoons sitting on the amazing deck, what more could one ask for!! Thank you for your hospitality! It was a great week!!!!

We had an unforgettable stay at Andrew and Allyson’s. It is such a beautiful place that is extremely clean and very well organized. We were very impressed with their thoughtfulness and attention to detail. We would have loved to extend our stay and will surely plan another trip here in the future.

I would highly recommend. Kristy's place. It is very private with your own access to the lake. There is lots to do with canoes, lifesjackets, and washertoss games available. Or you can just relax on the back deck and enjoy the view.

Lovely location - even though it was cool, we made a point of sitting outside to enjoy the beautiful view. (Which we could also appreciate as soon as we woke in the morning). We had one very minor issue with the toilet and Janet responded immediately to resolve it.

We loved our stay! The beautiful beach is right there and a family of seals lay out on the rocks at low tides:). The home was cozy and well equipped with comfy couches inside and outside. Tamara was super helpful in many ways and even treated us to a bag of PEI mussels! We would definitely stay again!

This was our first trip to PEI and we were unfamiliar with the area. We had a lovely stay in the beautiful cottage and had everything we needed, except shampoo. :-) It was a little removed from restaurants, shopping and grocery stores but forced us to venture out and explore! The cottage was lovely, and the beds were so comfortable!

A lovely, modern home with a perfect lake view and access to the water! We really enjoyed the design of the home, with tons of windows (but don't stay here if the thought of things watching you from the woods freaks you out! But nothing is watching you...). The living/kitchen area is open and airy, with sliding patio doors that open toward the lake and a deck. Nice wood-burning fireplace. Very functional kitchen, easy to cook in. Well-separated bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms would make this great for a family (or just 2 people, as we were). Infloor heating is nice. Kayaks and other outdoor things available. No TV, but we were OK with that (and used our computer and the fast internet connection when we wanted to watch something). We had not been to Cape Breton before and liked this location - 10 minutes to Baddeck and about 1.5 hrs. to the south end of Cape Breton Highlands National Park (either west or east coast). Lots of hiking near-by, appreciated the host's ideas on that.

Beautiful house, lots of well-kept outdoor space. Hosts very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay again.

This was our third time staying at Jody's. it's always a great stay, comfortable and we feel at home. it works great for me on my work trip. looking forward to seeing the deck!

Barbara’s cottage is pristine, relaxing, and beautiful. It is private, cozy, the perfect retreat. Barbara goes above and beyond with special touches around the cabin. I recommend the cottage to anyone looking for some peaceful tranquility!

This is a great place to stay. We were lucky to stay here for work last week and we’ve booked again for next week. We always stay in a nice place when we are away for work, but it’s rare you get a place that you can’t wait to go back to every night!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Great spot, and easy access to the beach. Will come back here again.

We had such a peaceful, relaxing time at the cottage! The amenities were just as described.

This was a fantastic place for my wife and I to stay for the week. Close to Charlottetown and a great grocery store. But honestly we didn’t want to leave the property because it was so lovely. The sunlight in the mornings was beautiful and walking on the beach very relaxing. Carolyn was a very pleasant host and we made ourselves right at home!

Couple, 2 nights, June 2025 A great house, extremely bright, cheerful and spacious. Nice view over River John. Lovely deck and cayaks. We did not meet Tanya. Super store in Pictou. Don t miss the farmers market in Tatagamouche on Saturday mornings!

This was an awesome cottage right on the water. It was so nice to walk the beaches in Port Hood steps from the cottage. Managed to get in the last of Celtic Colors but were surprised by everything closing. We left on Monday morning but by Sunday almost everything was closed including one of the 2 restaurants in the town. The amenities in the cabin were great. Loved the views! Comfortable beds. Very clean. Highly recommend Patrick’s listing. You won’t regret it.

Adorable little beach house with a great aesthetic, just steps from a beautiful, quiet beach (and a few mins drive to other beautiful beaches). Clean and attention to detail evident. Easy comms with hosts.

This Air BnB was perfect for a fishing get away! Lots of room and everything was perfect!
