Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Annapolis County

Nancy's home was cozy and incorporated the style and character of the area very well. We liked the amount of information available in the home about the local area, appreciated the lovely welcoming gifts and enjoyed the century home flare with convenient updates. We also loved making a back yard fire and appreciated the ample wood. Great cozy location to get away from it all.

I have been thinking what I would include in this review since we stepped foot on Ginny’s beautiful property. None of what I’ve thought about saying scratch the surface of how amazing the property is. The photos don’t do it justice! The property is in amazing condition and well appointed with comfortable linens and furniture. We particularly appreciated the abundant supply of dark towels to help with washing everything from sticky fingers to removing mascara. Ginny has thought of everything you could possibly need, want or need before we did. Everything you might need or want on a whim has been thoughtfully provided by Ginny. Oh, and on the topic of Ginny… a better host has never existed! They’re so thoughtful, proactive and kind. Thank you for such a lovely and relaxing stay. Our only regret is not spending more time at your lovely property.

A nicely renovated house in an interesting location, with well-appointed interior, very clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. The kitchen is really well-equipped, and the beds are great. We stayed there in the colder time of the year (November), so we didn't get to use the outdoor features at all but the deck with the view of the river/inlet looks lovely. We found the three bedrooms varied dramatically in their temperature, which we couldn't seem to adjust (central heating), with the largest staying quite chilly while the middle was too warm - so pick your bedroom with that in mind!

We felt lucky to find a place so close to the beautiful Kejimkujik National Park!! The yard is huge and beautiful with a lovely walk down to the lake. Comfortable beds, nice hot water, easy to control the temperature in the house. Only negatives; upstairs bathroom only has a tub, kayaks need some work.

The house was very nice and comfortable. Plenty of space and all amenities were taken care of. I just had to move myself in. The whole area is peaceful and a short drive away to downtown. Laura and Mick were very responsive to any questions I had. This home I would definitely recommend for a future stay.

This property was even better in person! The location just a stone’s throw from the Bay of Fundy with a waterfall within a short walk along the beach when the tide is low. The space had everything we needed and had a vintage beach vibe that made relaxing so easy. The hosts were extremely responsive and we’d definitely recommend this property and host!

This location is beautiful! We loved waking up to the sound of birds and a view of the orchard in the snow. Thanks Yousef for hosting us, can't wait to see this place in the summer!

We had a wonderful stay in Margaretsville in our cozy suite at the Little Bird Inn. Kate and Adam were great hosts, and we loved the location, amenities and beautiful autumn weather at the seaside.

Christian's place was perfect. I have nothing negative to say about the place. It was private, peaceful and had everything you need including condiments/spices and a fully equipped kitchen. The space was perfect for 4 of us as it was spacious and had a functional layout. Christian and his co-host were very responsive and laid back. Felt like we were staying at the family cottage; no worries and felt right at home. Thank you!

Cabin was homey, comfortable, clean and had everything you would need. Area was quiet with privacy, a large deck, beautiful yard with hammock, loungers and a chair swing by the water. Playground is well maintained and safe. The lake was the highlight of our stay! There is a small beach area to wade into the water or you can jump right off the dock. The water is calm, warm and very clean. We spent all day swimming, out on the paddle boat or canoes. If you go into the cove in the boats you can find painted turtles and frogs. There were no mosquitoes as we were outside all day and night by the fire pit. On rain days the screened in porch was great for meals and games of cards. The cabin had a bunch of boardgames and movies we could enjoy. Denis is very welcoming, a great host and respectful of your stay. We had a really wonderful time.

We were very pleased with our stay at the cottage! It was exactly how it was described, and the lake/view was breathtaking! We stayed for 4 nights with our daughter and we were all sad to be leaving on our last day. The cottage was fully stocked with everything needed, including everything for outside (firewood, boats, beach towels, etc.). Jill was great to deal with - provided great instructions, information about the area, and responsive! Overall, great experience!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful, secluded cottage. We were looking for a peaceful retreat, and this place was exactly what we needed. The cottage, though small, is incredibly cozy, homey, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The serene setting in the middle of the woods offered the perfect escape to unwind and relax. We can’t wait to return to this gem of a cottage! Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility and a well-appointed, charming retreat.

We had a wonderful stay. The bunkie was cozy and well decorated. Rhonda clearly put a lot of effort into giving the space a great vibe and a theme that followed through entirely. It was still easy to get out and do activities. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a lovely stay! The cabin was cozy and clean, and the surrounding property was stunning. Jeff was always quick to respond, and we had no issues with check-in or out!

This was the perfect family getaway out of the city! Very peaceful and quiet cabin. We loved being able to sit out around the fire pitt in the evenings. Lovely area to walk- roads aren't busy, beautiful views of the lake. Highly recommend Pizza at Stews (local convenience store), it was delicious!

If you looking for a cozy place to stay - it is perfect choice! Ideal if you want to escape out of city for a weekend! Cottage was very warm and cozy, I felt that it was filled with love! Becky left all instructions and made sure we can reach with any questions. We had a wonderful weekend! Definitely recommend!
