Cottage vacation rentals in Annapolis County

Our stay was wonderful and the location/property is ideal for a relaxing getaway. We didn't get to use the rec room, but made ample use of the hot tub which was very nice to relax in. Quiet space and the screened in portion of the back deck is great for spending some evening time under the stars without the hassle of bugs.

Really enjoyed the stay here. The layout of the space is really nice, the kitchen had lots of supplies for cooking, And the view was great. The host is also very responsive and gave great directions to easily find the cottage. It’s a really quiet setting and a perfect place to get away and relax for a couple of days. Would highly recommend this for any kind of trip to get away some R&R!

Great spot! Family enjoyed a white Christmas here. The house was large enough for 8 of us. The Bunkie was a nice addition, but maybe not able to hold up to really cold nights in winter… but would definitely consider staying here again! Shane was great with communicating. Thanks for a great rental!

The cottage was a great place for a family get together - beautiful quiet roads for walking & cycling + paddling on Molega Lake. We also really enjoyed the big kitchen for making meals together.

Bonnie was a wonderful host. She provided clear instructions, was helpful and always responsive even while she was away. The place was exactly as described, peaceful, quiet and the lake view was amazing. We’ll have to come back in the summer to take advance of the lake.

Ginny was the most lovely and gracious host. From the very first time she reached out, I felt her kindness and sincerity. She even offered an early check in, where no one had stayed the day before. She didn't need to do that, but it was incredibly thoughtful and just made us feel more welcomed. We were so excited see this place, and it didn't disappoint. The house was a beautiful combination of rustic and modern. Every accent and piece of furniture was thought out, and just added to the uniqueness of the property. The claw foot bath tub was my favourite. I would come back for that alone! I highly recommend checking this place out, especially in the fall. You can't beat Autumn in the Valley.

Beautiful spot and exceptional hosts. Every little detail you could want has been thought of and addressed - and it was extremely kid friendly. Travelling with a toddler and a 6 year old, they loved the box of legos and the board games, as well as the kid-sized kayak. It was beautiful, peaceful, and private. The bedrooms are as described though the basement can be damp so there is a bit of a musty smell (no fault of the hosts). There is a dehumidifier running constantly. Overall it was a great stay and we really enjoyed it.

Claudia was a wonderful host. She was super helpful and ensured we got the most out of our visit. Dragonfly dreams is private and secluded. She has canoes, kayaks and a screened in porch. The sunrises are amazing and it's very peaceful listening to nature around you. We loved meeting both her and Tashi. She is definitely a warm and kind person. We highly recommend her place.

A lovely large cabin in a beautiful setting, perfect for our annual family get together. Even though it was the end of September, our 10 year old spent several hours each day swimming in the lake and using the many watercraft options (paddle boat, kayaks, paddle board, canoe, etc). Mornings were spent sitting at the end of the dock with a coffee in hand watching the sun rise, and evenings were spent sitting around the cozy firepit. This place is serenity at its finest, and we can't wait to book again.

Golden Crest is the oasis we always dreamed of! As soon as we arrived, we felt a sense of home and peace. This space is so comfortable and beautiful! We enjoyed all the amenities, the grill was great for cooking dinners and the kitchen is well stocked with all cooking utensils. The soaking tub and sauna were so therapeutic and lovely. The lighting throughout the house creates the most inviting ambiance, and the outdoor space was so lovely for lounging and perfect for watching the meteor shower! Uli was so kind and helpful and very accommodating. We had the most magical stay and can’t wait to return!

We were looking for a quiet place near Annapolis Royal yet out-of-town, and we found it. The trips to surrounding towns, restaurants, and tourist sites were easy and there was little traffic. Although not all the rooms in the cabin have been fully renovated yet, Patrick thoughtfully provided comfortable furnishings, and there were many 'homey' touches that we appreciated, like adequate lighting in each room, good quality linens and towels, and flowers on the table. We enjoyed the well-supplied kitchen, great shower, and deck for relaxing, outdoor breakfasts, and views of Milbury Lake from the private beach. Patrick was a responsive host and made sure we arrived safely and had everything we needed.

The location was so beautiful and quiet! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The one amenity that we missed was a dryer but the portable washer worked well. The host was very communicative and we felt like we get got a great bargain. Even though I came from the west coast, I got up at sunrise each morning and it was memorable!

We felt like we had a break from the world. It was peaceful, very cozy, charming, and comfortable. We slept like babies, even though it was cooler weather and we had to put wood in the stove for heat (something we enjoyed immensely). Kitchen was reasonably equipped, so we just cooked our own meals. If you’re ok with a few bugs and spiders here and there (nothing dangerous), you’ll love it. We plan to be back.

Great location for getting away from everyday life. multiple lodgings if ever you want to rent as a family unit. the water access and equipment is a bonus!

We stayed here over New Year’s and it was the perfect getaway. Super comfortable, cozy woodstove, and amazing views. We’d definitely return!
