A very serene stay, feeling right at home cradled by nature. This was my first time using Airbnb and it was a fantastic experience. Rajeev and Natrajan sir ensured a seamless stay experience. Right from basic necessities to recommending places to visit and local transport they were there every step of the way!! I had planned a spiritual retreat and was looking for a place surrounded by greenery and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Thank you team Aibnb and the hosts for a wonderful experience.

I recently enjoyed an extraordinary stay at a meticulously preserved traditional house that is a true 19th-century treasure. Every brick of this historic home narrates a story, reflecting the dedicated care and passion invested in its upkeep. The host, residing in Japan, is remarkably kind and responsive, ensuring every need is met with prompt attention. Equally impressive is the high-speed internet, surpassing 100 Mbps in a remote village setting, complemented by a state-of-the-art home theater and reliable power backup. Just minutes from the revered Konerirajapuram Temple, the location offers both cultural richness and modern convenience. Kumaresan, the exceptional caretaker, along with his wife, delivers culinary delights that rival the finest hotels, making guests feel like cherished family. Having traveled widely across India and abroad I can say this residence is the finest example of South Indian heritage and hospitality offering an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Ce fut un plaisir de loger dans l'appartement de Padman et Manju. Totalement indépendant, sur le toit de leur maison, il est d'une propreté irréprochable. Tous les équipements sont présents pour rendre le séjour confortable (frigo, bouilloire, thé, gel douche, shampoing...). L'emplacement est parfait pour rejoindre le temple en une dizaine de minutes en riskshaw ou en une trentaine de minutes à pied. Mais c'est tout particulièrement la gentillesse de Manju et de sa famille que nous retiendrons. Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir profiter d'un repas et d'un petit-déjeuner préparés par Manju et sa maman. Tous les deux étaient délicieux et nous nous sommes régalés! Mention spéciale pour les plain chapatis. Manju nous a même arrangé un transfert en taxi vers notre étape suivante. Le service de lessive est également un vrai plus. La note exceptionnelle du lieu est amplement méritée! Merci encore pour ce séjour. Nous recommandons chaudement l'expérience et la rencontre humaine.

friendly host. very clean and safe place to stay..

Wir hatten ein Rundtour in Indien gemacht und sind einige airbnb‘s durchlaufen. In Thanjavur hatten wir bei Ratinavel den besten Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns wie zuhuse gefühlt und er hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir als Familie hatten dort die schönsten Momente, Fotos und Erinnerungen. Die Einrichtung des Hauses war wie man es in Filmen sieht. So schön. Wir fanden es schade, dass wir dort nicht länger geblieben sind. Ich empfehle jeden, der in Thanjavur einen Halt macht seinen Aufenthalt dort zu machen!!!!

Amazing Stay , Super Host >> Absolutely amazing stay! The place is clean, neat, cozy, and just 5 mins from Trichy Airport. The host is incredibly sweet, responsive, and always ready to help — from arranging rental cabs to sharing great food and sightseeing recommendations. His detailed guidebook is a gem; you won’t even need your own itinerary! He’s friendly and open but fully respects your privacy. We had a lovely conversation when I had time — such a genuine and kind person. He greeted us warmly and even sent us off with sweets, which was such a thoughtful gesture. He truly cares about guest experience and welcomes suggestions to improve. Hats off to meeting such a wonderful soul. If you’re visiting Trichy, this stay is a must. Don’t forget to share your Trichy stories with him — he’ll love to hear them!

Great stay here with the local peoples in kumbakonam and felt so safe & secure as well caring host as well surrounding people also good. Its well connected with the city kumbakonam and they host helps us to arrange local vehicle with prior request to visit nearby temples. Morning coffee is Awesome. Overall, would say that friendly host/staff and responsive, will prefer again if need to come back again Kumbakonam.

My spouse and I stayed here and it was clean and spacious. There was an issue with the tuk-tuks at the railwsy station not knowing how to get to the address of the house. Plenty of water was provided which was great! the laundry machine was a definite plus. The neighbourhood was quiet, many birds were singing every morning. The water pressure and hot water in shower were great. The air conditioning was wonderful. We didn't require the driver as the places we wanted to go to were 30 -40 min walk. Alot of vegetarian restos nearby. For those who prefer meat, there is great bbq chicken takeout place about 10 min walk away. Beer takeout was about a 12 min walk. Overall a great place! We would stay here again.
