This place is a true gem if you want maximum “hygge”, and want to experience an authentic “old” Danish summerhouse. It’s warm and cosy, practical with lovely rooms including a living room with a wonderful wooden stove. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a holiday with a few friends or a small family, or just a retreat. Its location on the island is superb. We were there in end October, and can highly recommend visiting Anholt off-season, the colors and peace was amazing. Morten was very helpful responding to questions and sharing recommendations. Perfect location within Anholt — right in the village but nonetheless very private and secluded. I enjoyed the wild-feeling yard with daily appearances of a deer family! Lots of natural light and views of greenery. Good WiFi connection despite the remote island. Stine was quick to response when an issue arose. I was also very appreciative that Stine arranged to have linens and towels left in the house for me, since I was coming from the US and it wasn’t practicable to bring my own.

As a first-time visitor at Anholt, we are left with a very good impression of this lovely holiday island. We spent a week at Anholt in perfect summer weather with optimal opportunities to explore the island on foot and by bike. When we got outside the tourist season , we pretty much had the beaches to ourselves . Jens' lovely annex is cozy and well-functioning as well as well located for getting around the island.

Wonderful gem of a summerhouse at amazing Anholt. We enjoyed our stay at Lise and Rune's little house. The location was just perfect on the edge of the desert and the house was super cozy. We would love to come back.
