I stumbled on Angela’s listing while looking for a peaceful get away in the tropics. The Bahamas have a reputation for cruise ships and amazing resorts but my partner and I wanted something more secluded and quiet. And this listing was perfect. If you’d rather have a party vibe with lots of drinking and socializing, this listing is not for you. It’s for people who just want to get away from it all and enjoy time with loved ones. It’s perfect for a young couple, a new family and even has space for extended family too. The house is remote however. To avoid blowing your budget on taxis and rentals, you will need to do a big grocery haul and be comfortable with cooking during your stay. All-in-all we found exactly what we were looking for, well within our accommodation budget and will definitely repeat.

Amazing 2 bedroom House - Best Location in Nassau

The cottage is located just behind the US Embassy on a private street with around the clock security, so I felt very safe. The cottage itself was very comfortable and relaxing. It's only about a 8 minute walk to the beach and all the restaurants on the beach. The Fish Fry area is a little over a mile away, but you can take the bus for 1.50. The two restaurants we tried there, Goldie's and Oh' Andros weren't very good. I was very disappointed with my overall experience with the restaurants in the area. My savior was the McDonald's just down the street from the cottage. This was my first time in the Bahamas and more than likely my last. The beach was beautiful, but I'm from South Florida...

Lou is an absolutely fantastic host. From the very beginning always responsive and engaging with us to make sure we were up to date and kept informed. Lou was also extremely accommodating. The place was exactly what we expected from the listing, bright, clean and had all the amenities we required. Comfortable beds, lots of space and very well taken care of. Everyone absolutely enjoyed the stay and would not hesitate to get any property from Lou in the future. Thank you Lou for making our stay amazing and memorable!

We were a family of 7 and all stayed very comfortably at Louisa’s home. She was very hospitable and helped us with logistics of planning local attractions. He location was centrally located on the island making it convenient by taxi to go anywhere we wanted quickly. She make referrals for a local chef and drivers who made our trip extra special. We look forward to visiting again!

Janet’s place was absolutely everything and more! My husband and I went for my 40th birthday and it was the perfect place for my celebration! We wanted a quiet, private, walk out to beach paradise and let me tell you, Janet’s place did not disappoint! It is now my favorite place! Janet herself is sensational! We had an amazing 6 night stay at Kyrene’s place. The unit was perfect for our family of 4. The location is ideal as it was an easy walk to the beach and to Atlantis. After spending some time around the Atlantis resort we were especially happy with our choice of a quiet Airbnb away from the crowds. Kyrene was an excellent host, very friendly and responsive.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here! We spent a lot of time out back on the porch and sundeck. There wasn't a ton of shade and the beach swimming was a bit rocky so water shoes and sun shirts were helpful for those of us who had them. The first floor living area was also very spacious and comfortable for meals and relaxing in the evenings. Two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms were on the 2nd floor and 2 other bedrooms with a shared bathroom were on the 3rd. This allowed us to spread out and have enough space for all. Michelle and the property team were really tremendous in their customer service and support. Thanks for being so helpful and welcoming!

The home was just as advertised. It was a great place to stay, and it was nice having a peaceful neighborhood. I want to say Jasmine is fantastic!!! She went beyond what a host needs to do in order to assist with transportation during the stay and getting to the airport to fly home. She was always professional, knowledgeable, easy to reach, and above all kind. I can’t say enough good things about her. She was a pleasure. from start to finish!!

Anna’s place was beautiful, quiet, and very peaceful. This was a last minute stay as my prior reservation was not successful at the last minute. I was visiting and needed a place for two nights and the location was very beautiful and the property is on lake. The surroundings were beautiful and quiet, and there were no issues during my stay. I would recommend and stay again. Near the airport, there are a few restaurants in the area and a convenience store, however, everything else is only a short distance.

My stay in Nassau was absolutely magical, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible hospitality of the incredible dynamic duo - Sonja and Juanita and their beautiful Airbnb! From the moment my family arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The property was stunning – sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located for exploring all that Nassau has to offer. Juanita truly went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. She was incredibly responsive, offering fantastic local recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. Her warm and genuine personality made us feel like we were visiting family. If you're looking for a truly exceptional Airbnb experience in Nassau, look no further! I can't recommend Sonja/Juanita and their properties highly enough. It was a perfect slice of paradise, and we can't wait to return. Thank you, Juanita, for making our vacation so special!

I had an incredible stay at Keishas luxurious bnb She was so welcoming and made sure everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful island vibe. The location was great close to the beach and local attractions. We had a wonderful stay! The home was spacious with plenty of rooms, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool was beautiful, and the beach was just a short walk away, which made for an amazing location. The host was communicative and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend the private chef for a night. One of the best ways to try some amazing authentic Bahamas food/ drink. We will definitely be back!

The location is great and Jill is a wonderful host. Whenever we had questions or needed anything she had it brought over right away or had someone come check in on us. We really appreciated her responsiveness and care. Jill even went above and beyond to make our Christmas extra special with a tree and decorations for the kids! That was very fun to see them decorating on vacation. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Anishka's place! It was very clean, had everything we needed, and instructions were clear. The view from the upper main bedroom balcony was incredible! Anishka was super friendly, answered our questions quickly, and provided some great suggestions for local happenings (a regatta close by which was so much fun) and good restaurants (we especially loved Syrah, Latitudes and The Pink Octopus). There is a small beach area close by (easy walk) which we enjoyed (she provided comfy beach chairs and towels), and we also visited several other nice beach areas (especially loved Jaws beach). We liked being out of the chaos of the busier tourist areas of the island, and loved the quiet, local feel of the area. There was a beautiful sidewalk along the ocean which we walked/ran on each day and loved it! All in all it was a fabulous stay and we give it an easy 5 stars!

Tammy’s place is beautiful. Right next to the beach, you can watch the sunset from the apartment. Lots of restaurants near by. We walked to places, took the bus and taxis. She has beach towels, toys for the kids. Tammy was very responsive to our messages. I recommend her place if you are looking for something relaxing away from the city.

We had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb. The place was clean and met our expectations overall. However, it was a bit pricier compared to another Airbnb we stayed at on the same street, which offered even more amenities. That said, Chauncy was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially given the circumstances of our visit (we were there for my dad’s funeral). We needed to check out a bit later than usual, and Chauncy was more than understanding, allowing us extra time without any issues. We really appreciated the compassion and flexibility during such a difficult time. Thank you, Chauncy!

It was the perfect location for a wonderful holiday! isi is a great host, she picked us up at the airport and helped us with bookings! she also gives us a ride to the supermarket! we really enjoyed our stay at her place and will defenitely recommend it

I was very comfortable during my entire stay. This would be my second time staying here. I was checked on regularly and they went to the extend to make getting inside easier and quicker. We stayed during Spring break week, couldn't have asked for a better place to spend it with my husband and two teenage boys Doc's listing looks just like the pictures (No guests were staying at the other two townhouses, so we had the place for ourselves) It was an awesome experience, San Andros is a beautiful and peaceful place! White sand and turquoise water just a few steps from the house We went kayaking and snorkeling every day. There is fishing gear at the house, that my boys enjoyed Bedrooms were clean, comfortable beds, excellent quality of linens, towels, and comforters. Same goes for the bathrooms, everything was perfectly clean. They are very few restaurants, so we cooked/grilled at the house most of the time. We appreciate Ron's help (Doc's assistant). He made us feel right at home, drove us from the airport to the rental car and then guided us to the house. He was very attentive to all our needs and promptly solved any small issues we had. I'm sure we'll be back again ! ?
