The space was very clean and very spacious! Great location close to the airport, very quiet place! Good communication, independent check-in with very good directions! Recommended!

Nice cozy, peaceful, and private home to spend time in Lofoten. The home has all the amenities you could want and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was very clear that the hosts took extra steps to make the stay was comfortable for their guests. The surroundings were peaceful and picturesque. If we get to visit Lofoten again, we’d be sure to stay here!

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

We felt very comfortable in Roger's house and had a very good time in Sortland. Communication with Roger was straightforward and fast. Likewise the check-in. The house is not sterile. You can tell that a family spends time here and wants to have a nice time. The kitchen is very well equipped. Beds were perfectly sufficient for us. The stairs are steep, but doable. We were lucky and had a great night with lots of northern lights. The environment is very suitable for this. You can escape disturbing light sources.

A very good place I can recommend to anyone visiting Lofoten. Perfect location close and close to many attractions!

The view from the place is just amazing

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

We stayed 2 nights in Hans' residence. It is a super cozy cabin with a beautiful view. The jacuzzi is also really wonderful! It is quietly located and the ideal base for a trip in the Vesterålen. We will definitely come back here when we are in the region again!

Everything was as stated and we felt comfortable right in Tony's apartment. Location is also great, the Fiskerkona is within walking distance. Always happy to come back!

Very friendly and accommodating host couple. We spent four wonderful weeks in this very nice accommodation. The service was perfect. The hostess even took us on her dog walks. Not only were we thrilled, but our dog Buddy felt at home from the start and picked up his treats day after day. The personal excursion tips were also particularly valuable. Wow! What a wonderful stay. This is our favourite place to stay in Norway that we have visited many times. Halvard and Eva are extremely friendly, gracious, helpful and thoroughly wonderful people. We feel privileged to have met them. The view from their place is superb. There are so many beautiful sights in Senja with a plus that it is not overcrowded with tourists. We spotted reindeer several times, frozen lakes, beautiful fjords and craggy peaks. The accommodation is very spacious with lovely views from many windows. The kitchen is well set up. Theree are interesting decorations that add character. We enjoyed interesting conversations with them and were treated to delicious cloudberries with yoghurt. Thank you Eva and Halvard for a magnificant stay.

If you’re looking for a place to relax with family, this is a perfect fit. The rental is spacious and well appointed. Everything you need for cooking is available as well as a grocery store just a few minutes away by car. Sven is helpful and responsive to questions. The environment is quiet, scenic, and peaceful.

A gorgeous home for our group of 4. Very spacious and has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The beds were really comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay! We travelled during late May and the Airbnb was perfect location for our midnight sun adventures ☀️

Great apartment, spacious and had most of the things you need. The bed in bedroom 1 and the 120 bed were very good, but the folding bed was not good for an adult. I recommend buying a good mattress.

Trine’s place is our home away from home for 4 nights. Everything is perfect and the view is to die for, so breathtaking. Excellent communication and quick to respond. We highly recommend Trine’s place, if you see it available, don’t hesitate to book it.

This modern, clean apartment had plenty of space for 2-5 people. However, the best thing about the place was the magnificent scenery and the peaceful environment.

Very stylishly furnished apartment with views of the harbor entrance and the arrival of the Hurtigruten ships. Public sauna right next door, best restaurant in northern Norway about 20 minutes' walk.

Very cozy apartment in a nice location close to the sea. Tidy and clean, so everything was tip-top. About 15/20 minute walk to the city center, so it's a nice little walk.

The property is located outside Svolvær. By car, however, it can be reached within a few minutes. The location is quiet and adjacent to a forest and lake. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love and you feel very comfortable right away. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by Peder and his cat. He took the time to show and explain everything to us. The apartment also has a terrace, including Grill. Great, we would definitely book this apartment again.

Great value for money, felt like a home away from home. Extremely cosy, amazing views, great locations. I tried to book again straight away but seems to be very popular ;)
