The view from the kitchen table is absolutely stunning. The place is right on the outskirts of the center of Andenes and there is a short walking distance to everything. Until June 2027, "The Whale" will be built on the neighboring property. Some noise must be expected during the day. There is renovation of Andenes Lighthouse. This is to be sandblasted and painted. This special place is close to everything. Gammelstua was built in 1878 and is listed in the village book as the oldest residential house in the center of Andenes. Gammelstua is located in the center of Andenes which is an old fishing village. Walking distance to whale safari, Polar Museum, Andenes lighthouse, ferry dock (Senja), bus stop, AVIS car rental, great shops and eateries. Andenes Airport is about 1.5 km from the residence. There is a coastline and sea in close proximity, with great views of Senja.
