Beautiful home perfect for a couple on a getaway from the city peaceful and very relaxing everything was very clean and Jason thought of everything you could just bring you and clothes and be set they had homemade cookies and bread and jam many other things for you to eat and drink and all the little things you forget to bring they had ready for you we will definitely be back.

Keisha was a fantastic host in all aspects. We were in town for the Polar Express. The home was beautifully decorated on the inside for Christmas. She went above and beyond by leaving a nice welcome basket for our family including Christmas books, stuffed animals and candy. Keisha's home and her attention to detail really added a great touch to our memorable weekend.

We had a wonderful stay with our grandchild. The cabin was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Had never been in a chicken coop, petted a goose or scratched the back of a goat. So fun. A definite highlight were the dogs from the rescue on site. Beautiful, healthy, friendly and well socialized dogs. We fell in love with a few. Danny was friendly and informative. Quick to respond too. An A+ adventure for our family. Definitely recommend.

Susan was very accommodating... I had to reschedule our visit three times in which she was able to arrange dates so that my husband and I could get away!! Her home was very nice, clean and the environment was very peaceful!! Her and her husband own a BBQ place in town and if you're looking for some good food that's the place to go!! We look forward to coming back and staying at her home again real soon!!

From the first clarification questions asked to the moment we were driving away, Frank, the host contact, was great and responsive quickly. The house is very spacious and welcoming for large families needing a quiet place to relax, enjoy the lake, and spend time together. The rules and guidelines are lengthy, and great to know exactly what to do as well as realize how much they care to keep the home welcoming for future guests as well. There always seem to be little hiccups in family trips, so it was great to have quick and easy communication with Frank, our host. I definitely will definitely look forward to checking in with Frank for future stays while visiting close to my brother's family in SE Texas. Highly recommend!

This home is fantastic. Secluded and peaceful. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating, making our stay super easy. Great communication, and comfortable accommodations for our family. Even though the pool/hot tub weren’t working for us, we really enjoyed the stay, and will be back.

everything was just as described! caught a few bass the first day/evening! lost more lures than I want to count - excellent pond overall! house was awesome and cozy! property was awesome overall! Will be staying with the kids next time - this was our anniversary trip.

The place was very beautiful and the house reminded me of my grandparents home when I was a little girl. It was very nostalgic for me. The only issue that I had was getting the electric fence turned off. I didn't know exactly where to look and it was late in the evening when I arrived. But once I called Paula, everything was perfect. Great place....Great host....Great experience.

Ruby cottage was the right place for the four of us to stay in the Palestine area. It was welcoming, clean and comfortable, fairly well stocked and located close to our chosen attractions. Host was responsive and considerate. Would consider staying here again if the need arises.
