Our stay at Erin's place was amazing. She was very accommodating including delivering canoe paddles immediately after we had trouble finding some. The pond is beautiful and access to the boats was a major perk! I highly recommend staying here.

Jennifer and Rex where great,they went above and beyond. The food,cocktail bar,tea and scones totally fulfilled our dining experience. The view of the water was beautiful, we will definitely be coming back.

You will love that it has a driveway, that you can pull in and leave without backing up. The home is bright and cheery. When you walk in, you see that it is just like the listing and better. The decor is soothing to the eyes throughout the home. I felt secure the very first night being there. We enjoyed their private patio with a firepit. It is definitely an all season home to enjoy all year. For young kids it has a bright, clean & spacious basement with pool table that converts to a ping pong table, air hockey table and an electric basket ball hoop arcade game for several to play. My stay here was for 4 weeks and I did not want to leave. I have put this Airbnb in my phone as a place that I want to comeback to again! Erin was incredibly accommodating and super responsive! The cottage is charming, clean and relaxing with a great view, and had all the necessities and more. I felt very taken care of and recommend this spot to anyone looking to feel away from it all, yet in a safe neighborhood, close to many great restaurants and shopping with easy access to the freeway. Our second visit to this location was just as positive as the first. The house was spotless, with plenty of handy storage for unpacking to keep it clean during our stay. We love the layout, with plenty of space between bedrooms for added peace and quiet. We were lucky to have good weather during our stay, so the sunsets on the lake were cinematic and perfect. Craig was friendly and responsive. We will be back next year!

It’s a very nice place to stay, right on the water with beach access from the backyard. The cottage is very comfortable and has absolutely everything you need. I like to cook and there was a great selection of everything you need to make use of the kitchen and feel right at home. The beds were also very comfortable. The view was lovely, and the environment very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it!

This was definitely home away from home! The area was very peaceful with beautiful views, we had everything we needed and is perfect if you have children! Plenty to keep the kiddos busy and having fun while you enjoy your time too. It was hard to leave! 10/10 recommend staying here with family!

Wish we had more time to relax there but the time we had was so peaceful. Having a morning coffee, sitting out along the lake on the dock, Premium. My only issue was that train. I'm a light sleeper. I heard any that went by. Didn't seem to bother my wife.

The beach access was incredible for quiet mornings. Well stocked with things to do, it was a joy to watch the other renters take the boats out to fish and relax. The neighbors were all friendly, the neighborhood a short and sweet walk. It was an incredible stay, we ended up extending because we weren't ready to leave! Loved the fully equipped kitchen and though we didn't utilize it, free laundry facilities are always a plus for lake vacations (no more smelly bathing suits on the way home!) The thermostat was straightforward and the wifi connection was strong. No complaints here!

Great place! We've stayed here multiple times and everytime it's been great. The hosts are easy to work with and the place is always in great condition. I would highly recommend this house! The lake is absolutely beautiful!

This was a little slice of heaven. We got exactly what we were looking for. The home was very warm and inviting. Carla was very responsive to any questions I had. I could not have had a better trip. On a side note, I strongly recommend trying the Schoolhouse Restaurant when you are on the island. You will not regret it. If you are looking for heaven, look no further and spend a little time at this wonderful home.

When I think of the perfect getaway this is the place. Well taken care of. Much bigger than it looks. The decor and furnishings were amazing. The couch is insanely comfy. The views are some of the best on Lake Orion. This is the best of LO and a slice of heaven I am glad they are willing to share. Jamie went above and beyond and made our son’s birthday extra special. Having been around LO for years this is a gem that shouldn’t be passed up.

We stayed during the time between winter & spring, where weather is hit-or-miss, but we were still able to enjoy the huge patio and the lake-front yard 2 of the 4 nights! The kids found some fun lawn toys to keep entertained. House faces West over the lake—sunsets were amazing! We found the neighborhood perfect for walking around and the kids loved the bridge over the “river” (drainage ditch?) with lots of ducks, a public playground, and a small beach (private for the residents). All within a 2-5 minute walk. The owner also has the property next door so it was nice to run into him and ask for dinner recommendations (great Italian spot 5min walk). And lastly, we were pleased to see some new/updated furniture—the listing photos might not be up-to-date, so it may be better than you expected!

Highly recommend this beautiful home! Hosts are responsive and kind. Would love to come back and stay again soon!
