Nice little cottage with magnificent lake views. Very clean. Dog-friendly. Bedroom with comfortable bed. Full kitchen. Tranquility assured. 15 minute drive to Amos. The 2 kayaks are a big plus, bring your life jackets. Wifi sufficient for remote work.

I would like to express my highest recommendation for Le Monarque, where I recently had the privilege of staying 4 days and 3 nights with 7 other people. Having made several similar getaways, I can say without hesitation that this place is the best place x1000! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Melanie, whose kindness and attention to detail immediately highlighted the exceptional experience that awaited us. The accommodation was impeccable, impeccably clean, perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated, offering absolute comfort. The location is simply ideal for tranquility, nature, parking etc. But what really makes all the difference is the unique atmosphere and the exceptional welcome we received from Melanie and her spouse who even came to de-ice the steps and make sure we were okay. Entire place, very original. Five shipping containers transformed into a house! Original interior with warm finish and a slightly industrial side. Quiet and tranquil environment. In summer the lake view must be very beautiful, and we were unable to enjoy the beautiful outdoor terrace on the second floor because of the winter season. For those who like to cook, the kitchen is very well equipped with good quality appliances. However, the accommodation may be less suitable for a family with young children due to the narrow and fairly steep staircase, and the very open kitchen. Same comment for people with limited mobility, however there is an accessible room on the ground floor with a sofa bed. The upstairs rooms are a good size but do not have closed partitions, rather privacy curtains. We had a great stay, and were lucky enough to meet the co-owner, who was very friendly. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful trails right next to the cottage. A forest rich in diversity. Ultra bright chalet, open air with all amenities. Quiet, private. Beautiful lake view.
