House vacation rentals in Ammoudara

The villa was just as described. Great location, walkable to the beach and close to bars and restaurants yet still private. We were able to check in early and were met by Maria’s family and all the amenities were explained well. Maria checked in with us regularly and came to clean during our stay. We even locked ourselves out and Maria was very helpful in getting us back in. Check out was also very smooth and easy. Overall a great stay and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

We came 5 people - my husband and I, with our 2 children and my mother-in-law. First of all, a few days before we arrived Elena (an amazing woman with a perfect english) contacted me and made sure she has all the details so she can prepare a perfect stay for us. The house was super clean and equipped, and the outside was the best! We spent hours in the pool enjoying the amazing nature around us. Elena and her husband Yiorgos are wonderful people - they were very kind, caring and responsive. We wish we could come again next summer 🙏🏻

A week spent in this really nice little house. The view is just beautiful!!! The setting is incredibly quiet and relaxing. A real treat. Also a very nice little touch was waiting for us when we arrived, a homemade cake. The house was impeccable! The pool is very clean and cleaned regularly. The owners are very friendly and responsive, respectful of our well-being. We are really delighted with this week spent in this beautiful house. A lovely week spent at the villa for our family holiday. The villa is a short drive from Milatos and would highly recommend the taverna No Name. A car is essential as nowhere is walkable, especially in the heat. Crete is a large island, so we were confined to the east of the island to explore. We visited Elounda, Plaka beach for snorkelling and Spinalonga, as well as the water park. The villa is comfortable, set on 3 floors. The outside space is fantastic and grounds kept beautifully. Audrey and her team were very responsive to our queries and very attentive. They were also able to assist us with car hire. Would recommend.

We were well received! Angelina was a very nice woman to communicate with. The first night on arrival we got dinner from her because we were delayed 24 hours and the supermarkets were not open. Villa was very clean. Only downside was the wifi in the villa. The connection was very poor and in a room you had no connection at all. After we indicated that there was no wifi, she told me it would be taken care of. After we had raised this, we were in the villa for 9 days. During that remaining time, we didn't hear back from that. The taxi that was offered to take us was also a good taxi service. And all other activities and services offered were high quality. The cleaning ladies were good and thorough in their work which made the villa well maintained. In short, the wifi was a very nice vacation experience and a very nice host.

It was one of the best places we visited. The place is new and has everything you need. It was very clean, the view was incredible, and communication and support were excellent. The grill was also great. Thank you so much for the wonderful vacation!

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house has literally everything you need. The view from the balcony is stunning and the silence around the house really let us unwind. The city, the beach, a supermarket, everything is really close, if you have a car. Also Massimo and Despina are the nicest people. I would recommend this Airbnb to everyone!

We felt comfortable in the apartment. Communication with Nikos worked very well. Downtown is a short walk away, as is the airport with local bus lines.

I really enjoyed staying here. The view, the tranquility and in general the apartment was a dream to be in. I felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Always happy to come back. Highly recommend this property.

This is our second stay at Sofia’s house, just as lovely as before. Sofia is a great host always ready to help. The view is amazing as always and the food delicious. A very relaxing holiday.

We had a great time in Crete thanks to the exceptional location by the sea and Ioannis's availability. Ioannis's mom welcomed us when we arrived. She is extremely nice which helped make our stay wonderful. I hope to be able to go back.

A paradise for peace seekers who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We felt absolutely comfortable in this sweet apartment and would always come back here. The apartment was spotlessly clean and Katerina is a great hostess who always spoils her guests with delicacies from her kitchen and fresh fruit and vegetables from her own garden. This place is one of the best we've ever stayed in and that's why we can absolutely recommend it to everyone.

Very nice house, tastefully furnished and decorated, with all the amenities, large kitchen, barbecue, etc. Outside we enjoyed the large, very shaded terrace. The courtyard offers great privacy. The nearby village is very pleasant on foot, and offers many restaurants and cafes. Everything was perfect, I recommend it. A big thank you to the owners for their responsiveness and attention.

We will plan the upcoming Crete vacation according to the availability of this house. Here, taste is fused with coziness and wonderful country house design. You enter the house via a courtyard planted with a lemon tree and a pomegranate tree. A summer kitchen and a covered terrace complete the outdoor area on the first floor. Two entrances lead to the spacious living-dining area. Below the stairs is the guest toilet. Another terrace with wonderful distant views of snow-capped mountains, two bedrooms and a bathroom complete this house.

It was my third time staying at Millys House and it was just wonderful again. ☺️ Location, accommodation, beautiful neighborhood with great bars and restaurants (and friendly cats) - it was all very nice. Very good contact or communication with the landlord, inquiries were answered very quickly. We will definitely visit again! We had a wonderful time in Despina's apartment. We just liked everything and we felt welcome and comfortable. The description is great, the reality is much better. Despina is always helpful and responsive. We had some trouble finding the place. I wrote to Despina and she responded right away. She has arranged a meeting place with us. There, she was already waiting for us🙏. We really want to come back, there is still so much to discover in eastern Crete. Many thanks, dear Despina and best regards to your mom ❤️

As a couple staying here, we can recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay. Everything is as advertised: simple but clean. The terrace offers privacy and is surrounded by olive trees. Restaurants are on walking distance, as is the beach (20 min) if you can cope with the steep hill. As almost everywhere in Crete, a car comes in handy for any other trips.

The house has a fantastic view and is spacious anf super comfortable for a family . It really was 'a home away from home', no cliche. Evi s such a nice, warm person. She was always available, recommended places, and was helpful in every way and full of cocern. Highly highly recommended

Honestly it was beautiful, as soon as we arrived we were directly in front of an extraordinary view, the accommodation was clean and very practical. Everything is there to feel good, thank you Delphine (and Georgia who welcomed us)!
