Marieke and Den have created a surreal, warmly welcoming paradise. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos - spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and full of mindful, aesthetic details. The beauty lies not only in the decor but also in the little things: the carefully curated books, the wide variety of teas, and the fresh garden herbs available for use. We had contact with both Marieke and Den, and they radiate genuine kindness - while still giving you all the privacy you need. It’s a haven of peace, nature, and presence - the perfect place to find rest and reconnect with yourself. A true place of Zen.

very nice stay at Jolanda in the safari tent. very responsive host, very friendly, and so nice we could buy from her some food as we did dare to go shopping after a day of cycling. beautiful and peaceful place...i will come back for sure.

It was really good and beautiful – we were able to relax superbly! The place was exactly as described and very pleasant. The contact was totally uncomplicated and friendly. I'd love to come back:)) The hot tub is a highlight!

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easily accessible. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

Plenty of room, quiet neighborhood. The M5 bus made our commute to Train then Amsterdam easier. (Approx 1 hour). Loved the 2 free bikes available for us to use. The sauna was a lovely bonus to use at night to relax. Moniek’s was resourceful and actively answering our questions. Alot of gadget in the house, no cable on TV so it was hard for my elderly parents to figure out how to use an intelligent tv with Netflix and all but we managed differently. Area was really nice close to the house but Almere centrum gets a bit suspicious at night so be aware to not be a women alone at night coming back -even locals fidy not recommended.

Nice apartment with wonderful jacuzzi in a closed part of the garden. Very private and wonderful for a weekend getaway from the busy daily life. Nice kitchen, great bed and good shower. Even a washing machine (not used but still).

What a dream place! From the first contact, everything went very smoothly and cordially. Fareen is a warm, attentive host who had prepared everything with care and attention to detail. The communication was quick, friendly and personal – we felt welcome immediately. The cottage is cozy, atmospheric and surrounded by peace and nature. Everything was taken care of to the last detail and fully equipped. We enjoyed a delicious glass of wine in the garden, the comfortable interior, and the feeling of coming home to a special place. I’m emotional about leaving this absolute treasure of a rental- wish we could stay forever. We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

Very nice house with great garden. We were here with a group of friends and were able to enjoy the area, also thanks to renting bicycles through Joost. Also close to Den Bosch so everything was nearby. Absolutely recommended!

Incredibly great and fun B&B. Bertina is a wonderful hostess. Super reception and excellent service and communication. Super nice location and very nice environment. and finally a very extensive breakfast, really a nice bonus! In short: We had a wonderful experience at Bertina!

We were on a houseboat in Amsterdam for years, but the owner now lives there himself and no longer rents it. So we looked around for an alternative in the "little sister" Utrecht and ended up with Pauline and Raymond. The boat is located in a suburb of Utrecht, but is easily accessible by bus (runs every 15 minutes) and is very nicely located in nature. There were four of us and we had plenty of space, could sit well both below and on deck, the bathroom is huge for a houseboat, the beds are great, the kitchen is well equipped. The only downside for us was that we did not find a decent café or restaurant in Nieuwegein, but after all, we wanted to explore Utrecht, and the location is good for that. We liked it so much that we will probably go back soon. Thank you to Pauline and Raymond!

We had a short break in the woods at Lucinda's gingerbread house. She was very communicative, thought of everything, and our kids felt right at home. All they wanted to do was trampoline and pick wild blueberries. I appreciated how much thought Lucinda put into her home and describing important things. Views from every window were green and full of life, and plenty of places to walk. Also the quietest bike paths I've ever been on were great for pushing the carriage to the next blueberry patch.

Great place and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything worked out for us ☀️

A week of relaxation among the bustle of the birds. In rainy weather, there is plenty of space inside and in nice weather a very pleasant garden to sit in. Nearby, there is plenty to do, shops are close. Everything is available to cook for yourself. Baking pizza in the pizza oven was also fun to do. Definitely recommended. We felt comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay. We felt right at home. What a lot of nice places to sit and the decor is completely nice. In addition, a beautiful garden environment and lots of privacy. I slept wonderfully in the bedstee (we called it the dowry because of the nice curtains). And also nice that we could use the bikes!

Very nice place to stay. We caught 3 sunny days. In 20/30 minutes you were in the town or at the lake with the available bikes. It was very quiet and the hosts have landscaped the courtyard very nicely. We felt very comfortable.

Fabulous place just outside of Utrecht. Perfect for biking, walking, and running. Peaceful atmosphere. Great host. Very nice and engaging. Highly recommend it!

We had a really nice time, it's locations is great, nice restaurants and a supermarket nearby, close to the Hoge Veluwe national park

The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I've never seen so many dogs. All on a leash and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes walk you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the leash. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq , is perfect. She responds immediately to any question.
