We had a fantastic time, we rented a boat enjoyed the water, had a great time in town. I would definitely recommend staying for a few days.

A very clean space with plenty of to spread out. As convenient as you can get for fishing.

Our three night stay at Kim’s place was excellent. The houseboat is well designed and immaculate. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Kim was always responsive to any questions. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the turtles and birds. There are many restaurants in Sanford or just stay at the harbor and eat at the deli or the bar. We would love to stay again.

What an idyllic experience. Truly the best experience surrounded by nature- water, tree line, loons, etc. Nothing quite like waking up to 2 loons outside your float, the sun beaming in and the calm sounds of water, or going to sleep with a sky full of stars and the milky way beaming down on you. The boat was so quaint, so functional and everything you need for a relaxing stay, including two very powerful gas stoves good for cooking most meals, and a nice warm shower while you look out into the pond. It was a very easy paddle to shore if you wanted to go out for food, or for daytime adventures. Also a very gentle paddle around the pond for exploration. Rheanna was fantastic- responsive, welcoming and easy to get along with. She was very accommodating and we are very grateful we got to stay on her boathouse. It was a very easy and comfortable stay, so for those feeling apprehensive about the challenges of life on a boat, I wouldn't worry. The highest of recommendations! We'll be back!

We loved this place. Wish we had booked a couple more days to explore the island. There is free parking but you kind of have to pay in the adjoining lot, go down the dock and get yourself in and read the welcome book where the free parking is described with a map and where the parking pass is. This is not clear in the arrival instructions but it’s only 2 bucks and once you see it all it makes sense. We unloaded our car from the paid lot as it was much closer then went and parked free from then on. None of the above should discourage anyone from staying here though because it’s a terrific place! Nice welcome basket was greatly appreciated. Lobster and ice cream just a short walk away and tons of shops not much further. Loved it!

Jay & Teresa’s place was wonderful! The location was perfect and it was exactly as described and pictured. The Houseboat was comfortable and I felt right at home. I can’t wait to make this a yearly trip ❤️

Our stay was perfect 👌 beautiful and cozy. The bed was cozy, the blackout curtains were a plus, and instructions on how to operate water were simple! We had a great time and would come back ☺️

The Driftwood houseboat was delightful! Located on Iowa’s only island.. Beautiful views of the marina; right along the Mississippi river. Great location for getting to natural areas, plus towns up and down the Mississippi in Illinois and Iowa. I would recommend it. We would like to go back and try another houseboat. Loved having a different/unique place to stay while in Door county. The houseboat is literally next to the steel bridge but noise was not a problem. What I had not counted on was the very gentle swaying of the boat though this did not affect our stay at all. The beds were very comfortable, the houseboat was clean. The directions to get there were detailed and clear. Loved sitting up on the deck watching the world go by! We did have one issue while we were there, Mary was incredible responsive and the issue was solved promptly! Loved the guy who came to resolve the issue, he was full of local history and information! Great experience!

My husband and I had such a relaxing time staying here! We felt like we were having a mini adventure, but still had all the essentials we needed. We saw manatees, dolphins, and tarpon. And we fished off the back dock at night. It was so beautiful how clear the skies were from the view of this house boat, we saw so many stars. We’ll be back again and I’m already sending the link to friends who were asking about our stay!

This was truly one of the most unforgettable stays we’ve ever had. The houseboat is stunning, beautifully secluded, and came fully equipped with everything we could have asked for — including kayaks, boogie boards, beach chairs, and even a grill for easy dinners. Within minutes of arriving, we spotted sea otters, and over the course of our stay, we also saw dolphins and had a manatee swim right up to my wife and kids while they were kayaking. It felt like something out of a dream. The location is perfect — just across the street from a beautiful beach where we spent hours in the water and got to watch breathtaking sunrises. Then, in the evenings, we’d relax on the back deck and watch the sunset. Natalie, the host, was absolutely amazing — incredibly thoughtful and responsive, even bringing over a Bluetooth speaker to make our stay even better. We had an AMAZING three days at Cass-N-Reel Houseboat! Kirby was an attentive and caring host, with great communication skills! The house boat we named The Loveboat, was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and we loved sitting on the covered back deck watching the ducks, Blue Heron and boats. We also appreciated the snacks and gift cards to wonderful local restaurants! We were sad to leave and would love to come back!

This place is amazing! Fantastic view and super clean inside and out! Owner is very proactive, simple, and responsive. We will be back every year at least. This is top 5 if not the best place to stay in Venice. Thank you again!

Beautiful houseboat exactly like in the pictures. Being the end unit, it has the best view of the river and Battleship North Carolina. It also has better privacy and access convenience to the community picnic area. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Everything was perfect!

The Delight at The Cove is absolutely adorable. It was so peaceful to relax on the Cape Fear River, and at the same time be able to enjoy all of the excitement of downtown Wilmington. The houseboat was beautifully decorated and so clean, you could eat off of the floor. Unfortunately, the refrigerator stopped working about an hour before our check-in. This was completely out of the control of our hosts, but they were quick in finding a solution to the problem before we even arrived. I highly recommend The Delight! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is the second time we stayed here and loved it as much as the first. Sad to hear this gem is being sold. We love it and the prime location—so much so, we asked Ray for info. This place was my favorite AirBnB to date! So amazing! So relaxing! Thanks again!

Loved our stay here!! Rebecca was an amazing hostess — easy to connect with, responsive, friendly, kind — and we loved everything about our houseboat. It was clearly decorated by ladies with good taste, it was clean, comfortable, and between the candles, the white noise machines, and the diffusers in the bedroom to the coffee station and the well-equipped kitchen, they thought of everything! The whole houseboat experience was just epic, too! Absolutely would recommend staying here, no questions asked. My only regret is not staying longer!

I stayed from April 11–13 for a weekend getaway and decided to try something different by booking this unique houseboat – my first time ever staying on one. The host was great – super fast with responses and even waived the early check-in fee so my guest and I could settle in early. The houseboat was well-stocked with everything we needed: dishes, cups, an air fryer, towels, and washcloths. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the upper deck was amazing – we even fished from up there. As the host mentioned in the listing, if you’re prone to motion sickness, it’s a good idea to take medication beforehand. During the day, the boat can get a little rocky from nearby boat traffic. The location was perfect – close to the beach and restaurants. We did have a bit of a surprise one night when a few people came onto the upper deck while we were asleep, which startled us. We let the host know the next morning, and she was quick to respond overall it was a great cool experience!

What an amazing time! It was glamping on the water and it was great! Everything you need to have a relaxing, but fun time. It's totally what you want to make of it! Linda was such a great host and we felt safe, relaxed and ready for our adventure! Thank you, we'll be back for sure!
