Staying at Andrew & Yesenia’s chalet was the best Airbnb experience my brother and I have had. A friendly welcome, plenty of local recommendations, responsive and helpful, with a beautifully created house. Would recommend staying here to anyone and everyone!

I had an amazing stay at this cozy Airbnb—truly a serene and peaceful spot to get away and unplug from the hustle and bustle. The location is fantastic, especially if you love hiking, as there are great trails just a short drive away. Waking up to the beautiful views was such a treat, and the cozy spaces inside made it easy to relax and unwind after a day outdoors. The kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals, which added to the comfort of the stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to recharge in nature without sacrificing convenience!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Firehouse. The house and location were so unique and the views were beautiful. Chris and his family provide many essential household items plus extras. Our daughters (ages 2 & 4) had a great time playing with the board games in the living room and climbing up the ladder to the loft in the bedroom. In the morning, my wife and I enjoyed coffee on the patio while the kids played with the provided outdoor toys on the lawn. They also loved taking walks to see the "baby Christmas trees." During the day we visited Knoebels Amusement Park (only a 20 minutes drive from the Firehouse). In the evening we enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. We can't wait to return!

We are so thankful to Jason and his family for sharing their special place with us. We immediately felt right at home and had more than enough room for all 3 adults. We were immediately blown away with the breathtaking river right in the front yard! We never saw anyone else on the river the whole trip so it felt like we had it all to ourselves too. We started our day listening to the river while drinking coffee on their beautiful deck. And, then later in the day, we enjoyed tubing down the river, leaving from a nearby bridge and ending the trip back at the property. I have a service dog, named Charlie, that did everything with us too (including floating down the river) and I think he enjoyed it as much, or more, than we did too. We wish we had made the trip a little longer because we never got a chance to use the hot tub on the deck, or the fire pit, etc. We hope Jason’s family will have us again because we’re already dreaming about coming back again next summer!

This place was very nice. The views were absolutely awesome! One of our favorite things was sitting in the chairs right next to the hummingbird feeder. It was really fun to watch!

What a dreamy place to stay! We loved it. So stylish, comfortable and thoughtfully laid-out. Every detail was considered. The views are incredibly beautiful, the host is so responsive and considerate and it is just so comfortable. We loved the amazing windows and surrounding forestry. Near to Alice’s Coffee which was scrumptious and a nearby mini-horse farm. Bird watcher’s paradise. We loved our stay and would happily return and for longer. Obsessed with the decor!

Cedar Point is an incredibly beautiful home in a stunning location. I can’t say enough for the cleanliness of the space and homey touches that made our stay comfortable. The view is amazing and being able to watch both the sunrise and sunset was a special treat. Geoffrey is a great host, was very responsive and proactive about our booking, and even left some snacks for us and our dog. So thoughtful! This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Chetticamp area. Thank you Geoffrey!!!!

Comfortable and charming cottage for a weekend getaway, with easy access to downtown Traverse City. Really enjoyed being able to see the creek right out front and wander through trails in the backyard. Lauren and Tom were quick to respond to questions and great hosts!

Ann and Cheryl were exceptional hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time in spite of blizzard in April! The house is amazing and the surroundings are beautiful. I would highly recommend. We will be back!

Great place to stay!

The cabin was lovely, comfortable, equipped with modern appliances, and it was easy to reach. 4 persons can stay comfortably, although we were only 2 occupants over the weekend. We could bring along our dog, who enjoyed running around in the garden. The view over the valley is absolutely spectacular. The balcony is large and one can sip a nice cup of coffee or an evening drink enjoying the view. The cabin is located about 30 mins. from Charlottesville and from other attractions, like Monticello. There are also plenty of breweries and wineries in the area, so you can make short excursions during the AM or PM and return to enjoy the rest of the time at the cabin.

We had a wonderful visit with our family. The home is just as pictured on the website. We had everything we needed to cook good meals and relax together. The setting is beautiful. We enjoyed the views driving around the area. We were too early in the summer to do any water activities safely. We had some great walks in Molly Stark State Park and on the Valley Trail recommended by Danielle and Ben. Note there is little to no cell service at the site of the home. WiFi access was very stable. Cell service improves in town.

We had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend at Edward’s place in the Catskills. The home is an architectural gem—beautiful, relaxing, and perfectly immersed in nature. It’s in a great location near restaurants and hiking, and also worked really well for a remote work day. Edward was incredibly helpful and responsive, and our whole family—from kids to grandparents—had a fantastic time.

Beautiful home in the Catskills and highly recommend for any season or reason. Our family had the best time making and sharing meals in the lovely kitchen, which opens up wonderfully to the mountain view. Most importantly, Rebecca was an excellent host who was always responsive, proactive in communication, and ensured we had everything we needed.

The place was incredible! Amazing amenities with the movie theater, campfire, outdoor area, and plenty of room for our group: Perfect for a weekend away! Jeremy was kind enough to share this place with us, and was extremely clear and thoughtful in his instructions and rules for our stay. He provided great recommendations around the area and was communicative about ways to enhance our trip. Couldn’t have had such a great vacation without his help! Thank you again

My wife and I had a lovely stay. The sauna was an amazing feature and the place was exactly as described. Would highly recommend!

The hospitality that Frank and Kaylee showed us before, during, and after our visit was tremendous. Any questions I had, Frank was prompt to respond with relevant information. He was very respectful and patient and made it his #1 priority that our stay was magical. The place we stayed was decorated beautifully and we had everything we needed to cook, clean, and relax! Props to Kaylee for giving my wife ideas for our own home. We are about 7 hours away, but we will definitely be back! Thank you both again!

Kat goes above and beyond my expectations. We have been doing AirBnB for a number of years and this place exceeded all others. It was exactly what we were looking for...quiet, peaceful, on a lake and everything about the chalet was wonderful. From a fire in the wood stove to greet us when we got there, welcome gifts and Kat's friendly and soft spoken demeanor was great. All of the little touches to the chalet made it most welcoming, the selection of records was unreal and all kinds of board games to keep you occupied Our only regret is that we didn't go a little earlier in the year. I think September would be perfect

Communicating with Jean is simple, he responds quickly and the accommodation was perfect. I recommend this place to everyone, not to be missed.

We loved our stay! The only complaint we had was we couldn’t stay longer and Innsbrook doesn’t feed their fish in the lakes enough! We caught a lot but they were all small 😂! We would 100% recommend Pura Vida Chalet. Some AirBnBs feel like the hosts never stay there but not this one. Thank you again.

Overall, we liked it !

We had a lovely time in the cottage. The environment is beautiful and the chalet is very well-equipped. Beware, however, of mosquitoes and black flies in this season (high season), you must provide repellent to be able to enjoy the outdoors. Otherwise, everything was perfect and we'll be happy to go back!
