My wife went to Amboise and were fortunate enough to discover this hidden gem of a private holiday home. The privacy and tranquility of the place were nothing short of amazing. It was the ideal setting for a couples' getaway, allowing us to truly disconnect from our everyday routines and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Amboise. My wife was absolutely delighted with the ambiance – the peaceful surroundings offered us a chance to reconnect and enjoy each other's company without any distractions. Of course, the lovely pool added an extra layer of luxury to our stay. My wife and I spent hours lounging by the pool, and relishing the warm sun. It provided the perfect backdrop for creating beautiful memories together.

A short but intense stay in a very quiet and serene place. The atmosphere was colorful with Halloween decorations and warmed up by the very appreciable hot tub at the end of the day. A few relaxing nights for beautiful days of adventures in the area!

We had a lovely stay at Agnes' place when we were visiting family in Poce-sur-Cisse. Her home is welcoming, with personal touches, an amazingly equipped kitchen and plenty space for a big family (comfortably sleeps 5 people, could sleep 6 if couch is used). It should be noted that you directly enter an open bedroom upstairs (double bed and single bed), and then through another door a private double bedroom. Agnes always responded quickly and made sure to check in with us. We would definitely book with Agnes again!

we enjoyed a very spacious and comfortable house with sun on the terrace all day. a huge fenced garden, ideal for our dog. within walking distance of the castle, and close to beautifully signposted cycling routes. a bakery is within cycling distance, for a supermarket you have to take the car. Erik prepared wood for the stove that made it very cozy in the evening. We highly recommend this stay!

Nice little quiet house with stunning views of the Loire and quick access to the various castles in the area. Murielle and Thierry were very responsive and available. We'll be happy to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah and JM's place. They are real treasures of people! The area is beautiful and Montresor is an ideal base for a holiday with nice trips (the zoo, castles, cozy towns). The accommodation has all the necessary amenities and a blissful swimming pool and beautiful private garden where you can completely unwind. This was the most relaxing week we have already had on vacation. Here we are dismayed!

Everything was perfect! A little paradise with a beautiful setting, the noise of the river, the animals, a fireplace. It had everything we needed to cook, which was very convenient. We hope to be back next year!

Helene and Jean-Luc were very welcoming. The house was very clean with spacious. The bathroom with 2 showers and a huge bath is a highlight. The garden is beautiful and the village it very peaceful and a lovely place to stay.

We spent 3 excellent days in a very nice setting, green and soothing. The hospitality by Angie was excellent, the accommodation was very true to the listing, clean and very functional. I would highly recommend this place if you want to be quiet, in a very nice environment and visit everything the region has to offer: castles, vineyards, Beauval Zoo...

A peaceful haven. We loved staying in the Gavroche cottage. It is perfectly equipped. We slept very well. The place was very clean. A calm resides in this area which is great for disconnecting. We'll be happy to go back. 😊 Ideal for families with kids. 😊

The cottage is clean and nicely equipped, we had a very relaxing stay. Augustin, the host present, in addition to his sympathy, was fully available and responsive. The pool is nice when the weather is nice and the golf has a great 9-hole course that will require you to outdo you. We'll be back:)!

Good stay at Martial's, the accommodation is well-equipped and the bedding is very comfortable. Beautiful and large terrace in front of the wooded garden. Close to shops / walks / castles. Recommended!

We had a pleasant stay at Virginia's. Young parents with an 8-month-old baby, the house had everything we needed to accommodate all (high chair, changing mat, baby bath, baby bed...). The house is warm, carefully decorated, as well as for Christmas with a nice tree and festive and seasonal decorations. We felt right at home there. Each room is comfortable and the bedding is quality. We were able to enjoy the wood-burning stove every night. It was a real pleasure to enjoy this environment for the end of 2024. Virginie was also very flexible and attentive on arrival and departure, took into account our few requests before arrival and we greatly appreciated her contact. We will be happy to return when visiting the area again.

Very pleasant stay. Hughes & Elodie offer charming and cozy accommodation, very well arranged and very well-equipped. The spaces are of beautiful sizes. Parking in a private space is a real plus. Located away from the city, the place is peaceful and relaxing, allowing you to fully unwind. The city of Amboise is very close, city center accessible in 10 minutes by car. If you want to enjoy the attractions of the Loire, I recommend this listing to relax without being subjected to the immediate neighborhood, which is sometimes unfortunately the case for listings located in the city.
