Cottage vacation rentals in Ambert

Perfectly renovated, very pleasant and cozy house in which we had a great weekend with the family. We were able to enjoy the many facilities available: fireplace, Norwegian bath, petanque court... The setting is beautiful, sheltered from any disturbance, with a large terrace to enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains (with the chain of volcanoes in the background). A very nice place!

Excellent stay in a relaxing and peaceful setting, what we were looking for. Accommodation fully matches the listing, the jacuzzi is a real plus. Small downside on the additional cleaning fee. Thierry is enthusiastic, delighted to provide these recommendations and tips on local activities and businesses.

Julien hosted us very warmly and remembered all our requests (crib + raclette grill). The accommodation as well as the exterior are perfectly maintained. The animals and the large grounds are perfect for children (games for children: slide and swing) and for older children (bocce ball court and ping-pong table). In short, I highly recommend it!

Beautiful restaurant for this very pleasant house to live in, quiet and close to tourist places. A lot of kindness from the owner. Special mention for the mezzanine net that allows young and old alike a very nice rest while enjoying the warmth of the stove in the living room. We highly recommend it!

We had a pleasant week in a very nice house with all the necessities available. A host always ready to help, advise, open to discussion without being invasive. Between 2 moves my son and I were able to take a break in a quiet and relaxing area It is obvious that Jonathan loves to host and does everything he can to make you feel comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at this cottage ( double cottage for us, we were a dozen). We had the instructions in advance by Lucie via text, we were able to discuss the elements of the stay and were able to arrive at the time that suited us without any worries. The accommodation is very clean, with lots of quality amenities - a ping pong table with snowshoes in good condition ( rare!), board games, a TV in each cottage, a molky, raclette machines, etc... The bedding is very good, the linen provided was very nice, the kitchen and the dishes impeccable... In short really good. Lucie was also very attentive to our requests and we thank her for that. The exchanges were pleasant. A quick tip for future tenants - plan to shop beforehand, supermarkets are a bit far away! This is a good point for us because quiet, but you are warned:) Thanks again to Lucie, and happy hosting!

We had a great time at Juliette's place. Domaine de la Loge is a peaceful, very quiet and relaxing place. We inaugurated its new cottage, perfect for a family of two adults and two children. The meals under the catalpa, in the company of the chickens, the bells of the goats, the trampoline for the children, Juliette's table d 'hôte, the different relaxation areas, shaded or not, and the very large swimming pool made this stay a more than pleasant moment. Extra point for the pool with a shallow space of at least one third of the pool allowed our children (7 and 3 years old) to fully enjoy the water. The area is very pretty and many places are to be discovered, inexpensive and without a mass of tourists. Thank you Juliette for a lovely vacation!

Typical cottage, with a wooden point of contact with care and wardrobe. Quiet in a vintage hamlet. A grocery bakery about 3 km away.

Absolutely recommended. We were able to enjoy this large house, the beautifully maintained and spacious garden with terrace, and of course the private swimming pool. All necessities are available for a wonderful stay for 4 children, 4 parents. The bathroom upstairs is luxurious, with a lovely shower and bathtub. However, the (for us extra) room with bathroom downstairs, next to the garage, is a bit stuffy and - for that reason - we did not use it. Really friendly and helpful owners. Our compliments, we would love to come back.

Spacious, well arranged and well located accommodation (in a small place, off-center from the center of the village but on the road to Thiers). The environment is very pleasant. Spacious bathroom and bedrooms, a small atypical garden and a beautiful view in front of the house. Very fresh accommodation, it is pleasant in high heat. Overall we had a nice stay.
