Our stay in the treehouse in Ella was truly a wonderful experience. It’s a beautiful family-run business where you immediately feel at home. Every morning, the mother of the family greeted us with a big smile as she prepared a delicious breakfast! We were brought to the town by tuk-tuk, which was not only nice but also a lot of fun. On top of that, we received incredibly helpful tips: they assisted us perfectly with renting a scooter and gave great advice for visiting a tea factory nearby. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Ella in an authentic and warm way!

This was a magical stay for us. The host was amazing and went above and beyond for us. He greeted us at the station and took us to his place. The room was spacious for our family of three. He walked us to show us how to get to town easily which is only a few minutes. Breakfast on the balcony was awesome. Typical Sri Lanka breakfast. Then, we needed transportation to yala and he drove us there and stopped at multiple places. He is a lovely human being with great stories of growing up in Ella. His love for a sustainable and eco friendly hotel is admirable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and feel blessed for this experience. Thank you!

Perfect start to our Sri-Lanka trip! The view is absolutely insane. Have breakfast on the balcony and look out into the distance without any other house in sight: true luxury! The location is great! You can walk to Main Street in a few minutes, but at the same time you can relax. In addition, we always got help and support when we needed it.

We had a wonderful stay at Lasitha's place. From the moment we arrived, Lasitha and his family welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality that we instantly felt at home. The rooms were very clean and beautifully prepared, and the surrounding nature and views were simply breathtaking. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious. Thanks to Lasitha and his family, we had unforgettable experiences with the local community that we will always cherish. We travelled with our 3 year old daughter and had an exceptionally nice stay! We recommend it 100%. Stunning views, peaceful surroundings. Fantastic breakfasts served on the beautiful terrace. It’s even better than the pictures! The host family was extremely kind and helpful at all times. The house is located at walking distance to 9 Arch Bridge and about 15 min by tuk tuk/car from central Ella. It’s super easy to find transport and to get around. We will for sure cone back and enjoy this house and Ella! Thank you so much.

Our stay at the Treehouse in Ella was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The place is made entirely of wood and gives you that authentic treehouse feel - it’s cozy, rustic, and perfect if you’re looking for something unique. It’s about a 7-minute ride to the main happening spots in Ella, and the hosts can easily arrange tuk-tuks for you. The views from the treehouse are absolutely magical, especially when the mist rolls in and covers the mountain tops. You can even spot the train passing by in the distance, which adds to the charm. That said, there were a few things that could be improved. The bathroom didn’t have a jet spray and the door couldn’t be locked, which was a bit inconvenient. There were also no curtains on the front glass door, which compromised a bit on privacy. Still, the charm and uniqueness of this place made it worth it - it felt like a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Definitely a stay to remember!
