Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Amazon River

A real oasis. The disconnection of modern urban life to the natural jungle that “Amazonas” is, a connection to the natural wild life that the amazonas is and offers. This is not for the weak or the light hearted. A real adventure and challenge with a life time experience. Shout out to all the locals that work there and make the experience and stay there possibly and a reality.

Our visit to the jungle was totally amazing in every way! Juan Carlos was such a great host and guide. He really wanted to show us everything he could! I felt like a young person (I'm 65) as I climbed trees - sorta, camped in the jungle, swam with the dolphins - and there could have been alligators and such! Just a totally incredible experience. And I felt so well taken care of. Mrs. Ana fixed the most delicious meals - more than I could eat. We were served, and cleaned up after. Roy seemed to be able to do anything - even building a railing for a log bridge while we were taking pictures on down the trail. Juan did a great job, also, driving the boat, with some help from Roy when it was dark. All of the guys were constantly looking for animals, birds, and flowers to make sure we could see them. And, when I was a little overwhelmed with the heat while walking uphill in the jungle, Juan fanned me with a palm leaf! I felt like a princess. I hope everyone gets a chance for such an adventu

Refuge Samaúma is sensational! Ana and Lucas are fantastic hosts, always friendly, respond quickly and provide all the necessary details. The getaway is really what the name suggests. Chalés give you the feeling of being inside the Forest, but if you wish, you can easily move to Manaus. There you can also experience the experience of knowing the riverside community of Livramento (on Saturdays there is a bingo from the community that is worth it) and of being at a point where the Rio Negro is very extensive. There you also have very good tours conducted by the hosts or trusted partners (the values are the part and the tours are worth it). They also offer support for meals, all delicious. Breakfast with regional fruits, lunch with very well prepared fish and highlight Pizzaioca (pizza with tapioca pasta) which is delicious and served at night. The Samaúma getaway was one of the best Airbnb Experiences we've ever had.

Graziela and her husband were very dear, gave tips and helped with their entry and exit. The place is amazing, feeling good about sleeping at night, fresh air, I needed it. Although it was for one day I found pasta, it reminded me of home as a child. Finally, I recommend the place, it's simple and welcoming.

We had the perfect experience of the Amazon here at Kristina's lodge. Willy and his team were so welcoming and organized everything we needed and wanted to do during our visit. The food was also delicious! The room was exactly as pictured, and as mentioned in the description (and being in the Amazon) there was a few bugs but we were very happy with the space!

Kristina's place is a little piece of tranquility in the middle of the jungle. It is about 1h from iquitos by boat so you avoid the noises and crowds of the city but dont take the boat too late at the sun sets down pretty early and it gets dark quickly. It is an absolutely peaceful and beautiful place. A lot of space and with all commodities. Fedencio, the caretaker, is very nice! We planned a guided day tour via Katrina and it was absolutely worth it ! We recommend it.
