Amazonian Cabin

Wow! What a magical place. I honestly feel lucky I found Fabio and family and this beautiful place to stay. The cabin was all you could want. Clean with all the amenities and a view that I never got tired of over the three day stay. I woke up to superb views of the rio negro and the sound of birdsong and wildlife. A blissful get away for a wildlife enthusiast like myself or anyone just looking for a relaxing stay away from it all. Fabio and family were brilliant hosts. They were so friendly and welcoming. They included me in a canoe trip to spot the gray dolphins, a hike around the surrounding rainforest and a lovely swim in the rio negro itself. If you want a relaxing and tranquil get away, stay here. It's close to Novo Airoa too. I feel lucky to have stayed here. Thank you for a brilliant weekend I will always remember and I only hope one day I can come back.

Cabin in Puerto Nariño

Cabin in the indigenous reserve

DianaRating, 5 stars30 months ago
The cabin has an excellent location as it is in the middle of nature and is just a five-minute walk from the Puerto Nư pier. It's a pretty safe place. The trees around the cabin, the birds, and the same cabin design invite you to reconnect with nature around the place. You can see the stars at night, especially after people turn off the lights. There are beautiful places in the surroundings that you can visit and tour such as the Loretoyaco River and various trails such as the Alto del Águila. Community guides are available for those hikes in the surrounding area, although please note that it is for an additional price. I also liked the privacy as you rent the full cabin. It's a great option for one person or a small group (if you're traveling with friends, a couple, or family). You can cook in the cottage and you can shop at the nearby store that is in the community. If you prefer local food, you can also try the delicious breakfasts prepared by Mrs. Sandrita with Acai and Fariña. People from the indigenous Ticuna community are very warm and hospitable. You can learn a little bit about their culture if you interact with the local people. For example, the drawing on one of the walls of the cabin is a representation of a legend Ticuna, as Mr. Pedro told me. If you are interested in seeing or buying the community's handicrafts, I would recommend asking about the handicrafts of master Ruperto and Marcos Rap. Mr. Pedro was an excellent host, always willing to provide valuable information about the place and the plans that can be made while in Puerto Nư. One of the most interesting aspects of tourism promoted by Mr. Petro and other members of the community is that it is community and sustainable tourism. Since there are no cars or motorcycles driving in the municipality, you feel a very clean air and a very quiet environment away from noise and pollution.
A serene swimming pool is framed by lush greenery and wooden decking. The pool reflects natural light, while a decorative bench sits nearby, inviting relaxation in the peaceful outdoor space.

Spacious Amazon Jungle Villa

Olga's property was absolutely gorgeous! The grounds at Awaken are so beautiful and put together so nicely. There is an astounding tranquility that you receive as soon as you walk across the bridge to get to the resort. The journey to get in is quite the trek, but it is such a sense of satisfaction to get so deep into the heart of the jungle. The natural feel of the villa is beyond measure, this place gave me everything that my soul needed to bring in the New Year. Oh my dear and the FOOD!!! The food is amazing, some of the best i had in the area. Thank you to everyone at Awaken! Feliz año nuevo 💛

NAINEKU LODGE (selva lodge)

CatalinaRating, 5 stars14 months ago
We had a very nice week in the lodging of Luís and his family. Communication was always great and the whole family was on the lookout for our well-being throughout the entire time. We had the opportunity to share time and stories with family members, which was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful, very quiet, on the banks of the river and close to the jungle with all its sounds, plants and animals. There are many activities to do. The cabanas correspond to their surroundings, mostly built with natural materials and local handicrafts. 100% recommended and to return very soon!

Enjoy a great few days with my partner in Eywa. The Lodge is manicured, we ate very well and the excursions with the guide were spectacular in the middle of the Amazon. Too bad it takes to get there, but it's the price you pay for being in the middle of the jungle.
