We enjoyed a truly wonderful family Christmas in Turid’s AirBnB. Perfectly equiped home with everything we needed and more. Turid went above and beyond to help and make our stay a special one. I would love to come back again one day.

We loved our stay at Heidi’s home! It’s the perfect home we’ve always dreamed of, with beautiful sunset and fjord views, charming and cozy decor, and everything we could possibly need. We spent 3 wonderful weeks here, savoring every moment—especially the views from the windows. Heidi is friendly, warm, and always ready to help. Thank you, Heidi, for ensuring we had an amazing stay in Norway ❤️ Highly recommended! If possible, we’d love to return in the future too!

We had a great time at Ole's: The highlight was mackerel fishing right in front of the house. In the evening we had 2 visits from the otter, who hunted directly from the house. In good weather, we took small boat tours as well as successful boat fishing with pollack, haddock, turbot and squid. Bergen was easily reached in 40 minutes by car. Absolute must: day tour from Fløyen with fantastic views over Bergen and then hike to Rundemanen with stunning views over the entire archipelago around Bergen. A dream! Thanks to Komot we were hiking on Herdla (7 minutes by car). Here there was a bird sanctuary and old bunkers to discover. The natural stone beach on Herdla was particularly great. Park at the golf course and follow the signs. On another day we enjoyed the Norwegian nature on the hiking trail at Kjerrgarten. (15-minute drive from the house!) Pure adventure: the Siglingavatnet Rundt. Absolutely recommended!

Vast typical Norwegian cabin above the boat shed (I recommend renting it to Cecilie) with your feet in the water arranged with great care and taste (the stove is welcome in the evening fallen. Vast terrace overlooking the private dock on the fjord. A sauna and a small bedroom in the annex right next to the cabin. Kayak or boat rides from Cecilie, ferry to the island of Fedje 25 minutes away and ferry to Sløvagen 30 minutes away for a beautiful easy hike in Steinefillet with an extraordinary view of the fjord. In short, paradise at Cecilie and Espen's not too far from Bergen!

Magical stay at Gripen Gård! 🌿✨ Our stay was absolutely amazing! Helene is an incredible host – hospitable, welcoming and positive. She provided everything we needed and showed us around the farm which made the experience extra special. The place is a little paradise – surrounded by beautiful nature, and complete silence. We enjoyed the sight of happy chickens and rams with good animal welfare, and got to buy delicious farm eggs and fresh sourdough bread. A big bonus was the opportunity to use a boat on the gorgeous water – a magical experience in total tranquility. The lovely little cabin had just what we needed for a simple and harmonious stay. Will be back 💕🙏🏽

Paul and Yesenia’s place is a fantastic find and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The location is breathtaking and the home is luxurious and comfortable. It is a three story, beautiful home directly on the water with a wonderful kitchen (very well stocked!) spacious living room, four bedrooms, three clean bathrooms and laundry with kayaks and a boat on a beautiful inlet. The hosts are responsive and kind. We would be happy to stay there again.

Fantastic location, the cabin is amazing. Well equipped, clean and very convenient, was the best stop of our road trip in Scandinavia.

I stayed 1 Month at Kristian's place. The apartment was very clean and has everything that you need for a long stay. The Wifi is very good and the neighborhood was realy peaceful. I recommend staying at this place.

Ronny was an excellent host - very responsive and always willing to help. His place was well-equipped with everything we needed and offered stunning views right outside the door. The self-service shop in Herdla was just a 5-minute drive away and conveniently open 24/7. Next to the shop there’s a public sauna that can be easily reserved online for private use. We visited Herdla Fort and enjoyed a walk through the bird reserve. The kids had a great time fishing and using the paddle boat.

The place was super nice. It is highly recommended in summer as well as in winter! It was warm enough that we would have endured minus degrees. The place was super good to find with the description. The view from the breakfast table was breathtaking! You can go fishing on the dock even in winter. We felt very comfortable!

Great place to stay and the view over the fjord is beautiful. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and kitchen is great for cooking. And Miranda was a great host. An extra bonus for knitters, there is a wool shop nearby and you can make great bargains there :)

Our stay at Ståles' house was great! As many have written before us, the house is sparkling clean and the furnishings look like new. The location right on the water is perfect – in two minutes you are at the jetty and, with a little luck, you can catch the fish for dinner there. Ståle is a fantastic host and conversation partner. The boat tour with him was a highlight that I will remember for a long time. You can tell that he is passionate about it and makes an effort to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The possibility to rent the boat and pay according to engine hours is one of the fairest regulations in all of Norway. Ståle, thank you for your hospitality! We wish you a great trip to Germany in the fall and hopefully good weather. Maybe we'll see each other again!

Absolutely amazing place in an equally amazing location. Excellent communication. We really enjoyed our stay! Only potential issues is the path from the road to the house. This is pretty difficult, wet and generally treacherous. If you are in anyway not physically fit or have a large bag you cannot carry off the ground for a while it would be fairly impossible.
