House vacation rentals in Alum Creek

Words cannot describe how awesome our experience was. The decor was fabulous. The amenities were beyond what we expected. The beds were like sleeping on clouds. The neighborhood was was walkable and close to a small community park. A few minutes drive will get you to downtown Westerville or Polaris Mall. A variety of grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. The woodsy setting gave us the feeling of seclusion. If you are looking for a family escape or a girls/guys getaway, this is the place to be.

We had the most fun and relaxing weekend here, enjoying the pool and hot tub, taking in the gorgeous surroundings, and sharing meals in the comfortable and homey kitchen and dining areas. Char was a wonderful host! She clearly communicated instructions, provided suggestions for restaurants and activities nearby, and made us feel welcome in her home. I would highly recommend staying here for a gathering with family/friends!

Our host was extremely communicative and helpful, instructions were clear and the home was exactly as described. Amenities were top-notch--the pool was enjoyed by all and the other outdoor areas were terrific. With our large group, there was plenty of room to gather (as well as smaller spaces for close conversation!) for meals and time together.

Nice clean house that is quite spacious for a family or large group. The three and a half bathrooms are especially generous. My only mark, which is not a critique of the house or owner, is that the street is quite clogged with cars from the neighbors. Apparently they don’t know what the driveways and garages are intended for. Regardless, parking in the driveway here is a bonus. Overall the neighborhood is nice. Plenty of shopping, dining and grocery nearby. If you aren’t from the area, the drivers are horrendous; typical city pretense and aggression so nothing unusual. I will gladly stay here again.

This place was exactly what we needed. The interior was in excellent condition, beautifully decorated, clean, and everything felt new and fully functional. It provided a peaceful and restful atmosphere. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were all well-stocked with the essentials, which made our stay even more comfortable. The two-car garage in the back was a convenient bonus. As the house is older, the staircase to the bedrooms is steeper than normal, which could be challenging for those with mobility concerns. That said, if you're looking for a spacious and well-maintained home near downtown Columbus, I highly recommend this one!

Second time staying in this location and absolutely love it. Great home and location! We love the pool/hot tub it is huge and perfect to relax in! I can’t say enough great things about this place! We will definitely be back for round 3!

The house was in a very serene peaceful setting but was within 5-10 minutes of restaurants and shopping. We saw beautiful wild life from the house. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Hot tub was not working but GH Hospitality was responsive and we found a resolution. Would definetely rebook again!

From the moment you walk up the front pathway, there’s art everywhere you look! Absolutely love the beauty and character and whimsy of the place. It was a really nice peaceful location, but right near a park if you wanted that. Everything was clean, cozy, welcoming, I had everything I needed, and Heidi was so lovely to meet and deal with. Looking forward to staying again the next time I have an overnight trip to Columbus.

So close to everything, malls, restaurants, stores, gas stations, activities, everything at the Air Bnb was great they had like 20 towels on hand which I thought was so helpful because every Air Bnb I’ve went to only had a few. Area is very quiet and kid friendly which I love. The house overall was so comfortable. The only thing I would change was how long I stayed, wish I had a longer stay but will definitely be coming back! Thank you

We loved our stay at the Pink Opal. We felt like we were transported to a retro MadMen TV set. The large expansive windows to the gardens were a special treat. You will love this place. We will be staying there again very soon.

Wow! What an amazing place! So comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. Anna came to our rescue when the first place we booked was so horrendous, I could not stay there. She was quick to respond at the last minute when we needed a place and we could not be more grateful. I would love to stay here again in the future when we plan another trip to Ohio from Florida.

Ahmed's place was a great place to stay!!! It was our second time back & we greatly appreciated the clean house & comfortable beds.

The space is stunning! We rented it for a commercial photo shoot, and everything was absolutely perfect - now we want to come back for a stay! :) Super great communication, too.

I had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the amenities I needed — and more. The host was incredibly responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Absolutely love our Airbnb. All appliances are top-notch and we felt at home instantly when we arrived. Our friends warned us about the neighbourhood, however we find it pretty safe. Nothing happened to us or our rented car (street parking). Currently there are some public utilities upgrade in the area. In time to come, this place will get even better.

This is the third time I’ve stayed a Elizabeth’s place. It is perfect for my travels to Westerville. I was pleased that she was also able to extend my stay an extra night as well. This trip was also a lot of remote work - of which required a great internet connection and a nice workspace - and it offered both. it’s such a great location for walking uptown - getting a coffee, ice cream, visiting the shops, bookstore and just seeing the historic area. I look forward to coming again in the next few months to visit family and will always stay at Elizabeth’s place!

The house was great. Loved the backyard. We enjoyed the firepit a lot. Providing firewood is such a big plus. Host was very responsive when I had a question about checkout. Highly recommend!

Huge place and such a great cost for what is provided. Felt like home. Frank is very friendly! Would definitely come back here :)
